Videos Wanted, Numbers and Tips
Video Curators Wanted
We're looking to start a new section where you (our members) share your video discoveries with the All About Jazz community. It can be a song from an album (old or new), a live performance (example), an interview (example), a product unboxing (example), something coordinated with a featured story... whatever you're excited to bring to everyone's attention. Interested? Submit a non-self-promoting video and choose Video of the Week from the dropdown list box.The Numbers
We keep a running total of published articles, musician pages, album pages and so on. This week, we added the total number of All About Jazz members and newsletter subscribers to the "Site Stats" section located at the bottom of our EXPLORE page. Check them out.Recent Questions... Answered!
We found ourselves answering questions this week that we thought were common knowledge and since a single voice often represents several, we figured we'd answer them here.- Winning a previous contest giveaway does not disqualify you from winning future giveaways. Enter them all!
- Our Premium Musician Page (promotional) service includes a Bandsintown event import feature, so if you upload events to Bandsintown, AAJ will automatically import them into the Jazz Near You calendar. Check out saxophonist Billy Harper's page as an example.
- Musicians can learn about the difference between their AAJ musician page and their AAJ member page here.
- To be considered for All About Jazz's Song of the Week (newsletter inclusion) and our annual Song of the Week (Spotify) playlist, musicians / publicists / labels need to upload a track here. Once uploaded, the song will be considered for Song of the Day inclusion. Song of the Day makes the song eligible for Song of the Week (both newsletter inclusion and our Spotify playlist).
- Our Event Spotlight Service supports four ($40), eight ($70) and twelve ($90) weeks of promotion.
