Member Page vs Musician Page: What's the Diff?
All About Jazz offers two types of pages that serve different purposes: member pages and musician pages. If you're a jazz musician, you may have both, but you only need one All About Jazz account to manage them.
What's a Member Page?
Every registered All About Jazz user has a member page. It's your personal space within the AAJ community, where you can manage your account, follow musicians and writers, set your preferences and participate in the platform.
Whether you're a jazz listener, musician, writer, publicist or industry professional, your member account is how you sign in and access the features available to you.
What's a Musician Page?
A musician page is a professional profile dedicated to an individual musician or band. It presents information about the artist and their music, including biographies, photos, recordings, videos, discographies, performances, professional contacts and related All About Jazz coverage.
Musician pages are part of the All About Jazz database and connect artists with other musicians, recordings, articles and live events throughout the platform.
You don't need to create a second account. Simply sign in with your existing AAJ member account to claim or create a musician page.
How Do the Two Pages Work Together?
Your member account provides the access you need to manage your musician page. Once you've claimed or created a musician page, you'll be able to update its information whenever you're signed in.
You can also access musician pages associated with your account through the MUSICIANS section on your member page.
How Do I Claim or Create a Musician Page?
First, search for your name using the Musicians / Bands tab on our advanced search page.
If your musician page already exists: Open the page and click the Claim Page button to request administrative access if you don't already have it.
If you don't have a musician page: Create one here using your existing AAJ member account.

Can Someone Else Maintain My Musician Page?
Yes. Musician pages can be maintained by more than one authorized member. You can arrange for a publicist, manager, band member, spouse or other trusted person to help keep your professional information current.
Each person uses their own All About Jazz member account, so there's no need to share your login information.
What About Premium Musician Pages?
Every musician can maintain a standard musician page for free. Musicians who want additional promotional tools can upgrade to a Premium Musician Page for $60 per year.
Premium features provide additional ways to promote performances, showcase recordings and connect listeners with your website and other professional resources.
