This & That: June 2023: This & That: June 2023
Our work at All About Jazz is never done as evolving technologies ensure that we remain busy and focused on our future. Though we always have an eye towards expansion, we also tend to our existing architecture so AAJ continues to run smoothly and without interruption. We included a list of recent but noteworthy improvements below.

  • Completed the publicity firm client tracking and service recipient management project (learn more);
  • Developed a solution to move our outgoing messages (e.g. website greeting) to our database for easier management and flexibility;
  • Made it easier for the staff to generate album cover embed code from several locations on the website;
  • Added more t-shirt designs to the AAJ merch store;
  • Added more data maintenance shortcuts to Jazz Near You;
  • We now post the latest newsletter to this page at the conclusion of Thursday's send;
  • Created a Top 200 listing page by business directory type (example);
  • Launched the All About Jazz merchandise store (learn more);
  • Launched our Record Label of the Week promotional service (learn more);
  • Replaced the AddThis share widget (discontinued) with ShareThis share widget.
We have two larger scale projects on the horizon: one highly visible (UI / UX) and the other "under the hood" (database clean up). Both will require a fair amount of time and capital. If you help us offset the cost of these projects, we'll make it worth your while (learn more).
