Rob Reid: The Beaches Sessions
Reid starts out with the funky walking bass lines of "Change My Heart Oh God," leading into the gentle pastoral soundscapes of “Seek Ye First.” He finishes with the truly dynamic range of “Oh Lord Have Mercy On Us.” Starting slowly and as gentle as a newborn lamb, the piece moves increasingly forward through a plethora of delicate chord changes before Reid takes off to glory. It is a real highlight of this young guitarist’s capabilities and arranging skills. The Beaches sessions will have old enthusiasts and new listeners eager for more of the same.
Mr. Reid is currently on an Eastern Canadian tour. He is backed Mugs By Color and the murky, malicious melodies of Violent Lila.
