Yoonmi Choi

Yoonmi Choi started playing piano at the age of 3. In 2006 she graduated Seoul’s university to now belong to the classical pianists’ alumnae. As a classical pianist she won “Donga composite competition”’s’ 2nd prize, and “Jusung University Classic music competition”’s’ 3rd prize. She has enjoyed the experience of playing abroad with several pop-formations in; Japan, the Philippines and China. After all her new experiences, she returned to South Korea and was there admitted to a top Jazz college: “Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts College”. She also won “Calvin college Jazz competition”’s’ 1st prize (2009), “Hoseo University CCM competition”’s’ 2nd prize (2010) and got the opportunity to continue her studies at the “Prins Claus Conservatory” in the Netherlands
