Legendary jazz and gospel drummer,Washington Rucker has been performing for over thirty years and has played with such greats as Maxine Welton, Stevie Wonder, Joe Williams, Nancy Williams and Dizzy Gillespie. His gospel performances include sessions with James Cleveland, Linda Hopkins and Billy Preston. He plays through out LA at prominent churches such as West Angeles and Agape and also teaches a master class at USC School of Music. Rucker’s quartet, The Jazz Collection includes veteran Herman Riley on tenor saxophone, the great Art Hillary on piano and xxx on bass.
