Helen Savari-Renold

Helen Savari-Renold is a co-producer of the 2023 Grammy®-nominated album “Remembering Bob Freedman” by Ron Carter & The Jazzaar Festival Big Band directed by Christian Jacob, in the category of Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album.

Helen was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Together with her sister Irene, she founded the duo Cenderawasih which was signed to EMI in 1984. Their three albums received high acclaim among the Malaysian public spiking sales up to gold records for EMI Malaysia. The Cenderawasih became one of Malaysia’s most popular Pop Duos of the ’80s under the management of their mother, A.I

Maria Quintanilla

Maria Quintanilla, originally born in Lima, Peru, is a multi-award winning vocalist, composer, and producer based in the heart of New York City. Her insatiable curiosity has enabled her to perform and record in a wide spectrum of styles that range from classical to jazz, funk to pop, soul to latin. Despite her young age, Maria Quintanilla has toured all over Europe, North and South America, and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with award winning artists such as mentor Jon Faddis, John Benitez, Steve Turre and Tia Fuller, amongst others. Diane Nalini

Diane Nalini’s new album, 'Kiss Me Like That,' is a collection of 13 songs celebrating humanity's fascination with the sky. From the title track's infectious rhythms, to ‘Cuando sale la luna’ - Diane’s sultry ode to the moon, her original compositions on this album are all influenced by the wonders of the sky and stars. Her six original songs are perfectly complemented by classic jazz standards chosen carefully for this project, like "Stardust", "Skylark", "They All Laughed", as well as her intimate interpretations of folk & pop songs such as James Taylor's "Sweet Baby James" and Sting's "Valparaiso." Songs from Kiss Me Like That have already attracted considerable interest in the media, being previewed nationally on CBC Radio's "The Sunday Edition", "Fresh Air", "As It Happens", "Metro Morning" and CBC Radio Two's documentary programme, "Inside the music." It has also garnered praise and airplay on Radio-Canada's "Espace Musique." Maclean’s Magazine, Canada's national news magazine, also did a full-page article on her recently. Aline Vida

When one feels deep passion for creating art, keeping such fervor alive isn't a question; it's an absolute must. Singer/songwriter Aline Vida knows this, for expressing herself in song is a natural part of her everyday life. This current Seattle, Washington resident spent much of her formidable years moving around the West Coast with her family, spending time in southern California and Arizona. Aline says she was just a toddler when she found her voice. "My parents used to record me on cassette tape when I was a baby," Aline explains. "And once, my mom was singing 'You Light Up My Life.' Erica Bramham

Born: May 6, 1984

Erica Bramham is a critically acclaimed vocalist, guitarist and composer from Melbourne, Australia. Poetic, inventive and uniquely personal, her work crosses the boundaries between jazz, traditional folk and experimental art music, showcasing her finesse as a lyricist and a captivating performance style that blends song with spoken word and extended vocal technique. In 2016 Bramham released her debut album, Twelve Moons, a song cycle that blurred the boundaries between folk and improvised music. The album was named alongside David Bowie and Vijay Iyer as one of the top ten releases of the year on All About Jazz, with critic Phil Barnes calling it "a fine record of forward looking modern vocal jazz that shows a way to make interesting, lyrically inventive improvised music” and signalling Bramham as a talent to watch. In January 2017 Erica embarked on The Song-Chain Project, an ambitious creative mission to compose, record and share a new piece of music every day for 365 days

Jennifer Lee

Born: August 6, 1964

It’s been seven years since her last release, but multi-faceted artist Jennifer Lee has been busy manifesting the prophesy of track #2 from her new album Glimpse. Farewell to Comfort, a lively samba that Lee penned in 2017, turned out to be a premonition, foretelling a cascade of monumental changes in her life that began in 2019. These changes include meeting and marrying her husband George Visger; moving from her beloved Oakland home of 21 years to a tiny, rural town in southwestern Idaho; as well as authoring and illustrating her first children’s book Relativity. (Book number two, titled Evolution, will be released in the fall of 2025, and Momentum, the third book in Jennifer's Wee Trilogy, is scheduled for release in mid-2026.) 

Michel Banabila

Born: April 14, 1961

Michel Banabila, born 1961, is a sound artist, composer, and producer. His music has been released since 1983, and he has produced musical scores for numerous films, documentaries, theatre plays and choreographies. His work varies from minimal loop-based electronica, fourth world, and neo-classical pieces, to drones, experimental electronica, tribal ambient, and punk-as-fuck tape music. In addition to acoustic instrumentation, Banabila uses samples, electronics, synths, found objects and field recordings. His work has been released internationally by labels like Bureau B (DE), Knekelhuis (NL), Eilean Rec (FR) and Séance Centre (CA).

Evilena Protektore

Born: November 14, 1984

Evilena Protektore is a jazz singer from Latvia, graduated from Jazz Department of Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music with a Masters degree and has stayed there as a jazz vocal teacher. Has spent a year studying in Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia (Italy) with prof. Maria Pia de Vito and taking part in a vast amount of projects with local musicians, and half a year in Hannover (Germany) with prof. Romy Camerun. In 2016 received a Nic Gotham prize for the contribution to jazz music and jazz life in Latvia. Participated in various festivals and projects: “Jazz in Latvia” compilation album, “Pori Jazz” (Finland), “Limassol Jazz” (Cyprus), “Live in Blue Bay” (Ukraine); and contests: Riga Jazz Stage (Latvia), “Nomme Jazz” (Estonia) and got a Grand Prix award at “JazzVoices 2014” (Lithuania). Evilena has collaborated with Lynn Seaton (USA), Rob Duguay (CA), Inga Berzina (Latvia), Serge Junior Robinson (United Kingdom), Tommaso Troncon (Italy), Fil Straughan (UK), Andreas Stefanou (Cyprus), Andreas Rodostenos (Cyprus), Nicolas Tryphonos (Cyprus), Leonid Nesterov (Cyprus), Tie Pereira (Brazil), Aviv Kohen (Israel), Gilad Abro (Israel), Anne Geertsen (DK), Onur Mulayim (TR), Gianmarco Tommai (IT), Federico Santoni (IT), K.Trio (NL). Since 2005 Evilena is a vocalist, composer and leader in Latvian funk band "Pieneņu Vīns", together with this ensemble has participated in a vast amount of festivals and events, gaining a solid place on Latvian music scene
