— A decade after his last full-length project — a decade spent winning Grammy and JUNO Awards as a producer — Joby Baker pours himself out in his return as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist on “Wanderer,” the lead single (out now) from the upcoming album “Rain On Dry Ground” (due out on Feb 17th 2023.)

While listeners may not be used to seeing his name on the front of an album, lead single “Wanderer” and the rest of the project are saturated with an equal number of genius melodies and rhythms that Baker has lent to such artists as Alex Cuba, Deva Premal, Cowboy Junkies and India Arie throughout his distinguished 35-year career.

Don Vappie

Born: January 30, 1956

Don Vappie, musician/composer/educator, is the 2021 Steve Martin Banjo Prize Winner and the Banjo Hall of Fame inductee, in September 2022. In addition, he has received awards for his contributions to the preservation of New Orleans Creole Culture through music and film. He has produced 7 of his own albums, co-produced and starred in a PBS documentary, performed as a featured artist with orchestras on movie and television soundtracks, and at concerts and festivals worldwide. Vappie's highly regarded unique and original tenor banjo style is equal only to his love of his Creole heritage and tradition.

Kristen Mather de Andrade

New York-based artist Kristen Mather de Andrade has immersed herself in a broad array of musical worlds and cultures, from the classical canon to world music, and beyond. Devoting time to both the worlds of clarinet and voice, Mather de Andrade has enjoyed a career of prime accolades and acclaim within her chosen musical paths, but these days music feels as vital as ever as she explores being a solo artist. This fresh outlet of releasing her own recorded music has been transformative, as Kristen is already releasing her sophomore album As Bright As The Skies Are Blue on the heels of her debut album Clarão (2021). 

June Yun

Born: June 5, 1995

June Yun, is an up-and-coming vocalist • composer based in New York, Seoul and Berlin. Yun was born in South Korea and moved to the U.K. when she was five and spent her childhood in London. She was introduced to classical music by her father, an architect who loved music and influenced her to listen and appreciate music. After moving back to South Korea, she explored other genres in music such as pop, R&B and Soul. Yun went to a music college in Korea and developed skills in song-writing (mainly pop and R&B) and lyric writing. She also worked as a co-producer & administrative director for Avenue D&F Productions during this time.

Dhafer Youssef

Dhafer Youssef is the Tunisian Oud master, vocalist and composer born on November 19th, 1967, in the Tunisian fishing village Teboulba. He grew up in a modest family, coming from a long line of muezzins. Mastering vocal potentials stands as a heritage and a family tradition.

At an early age, his grandfather initiates him to Quranic recitals in which he discovers his vocal potential. Dhafer Youssef starts singing the songs played on his mother’s radio set. His mother’s kitchen becomes his first experimental laboratory. At the age of 6, he discovers the resonance of his voice in his village’s Hammam. This fascinating discovery nourishes his ardent juvenile curiosity: Young Dhafer discovers his favorite toy.

Nothing dramatic, grew up loving all genres of music. Jazz suits my voice best, have sung with local Big Bands. Play drums to a decent standard but mainly in the funk arena.

Now I have the equipment to produce and release music I'm doing it for pleasure.

Contemporary vocalist, composer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Vermont, he now resides in New York City. With a large portion of his repertoire coming from American Traditional Music, Richards cites Jazz, Folk, and Blues as great influences upon his work.

His original music is a careful study of the human experience. Vibrancy of Andalucia, the intimate chaos of NYC, and rich traditions of a folk & mountain heritage, an intention to transcribe humanity into sound.

Through a wide variety of musical genres and original arrangements Walter imbues every performance with a jazz ambiance delivering relaxing renditions of ballads and love songs. Latest CD Night And Day,  a collection of recordings made from 2001-2020, some from old CDs live and studio recordings. lounge, new age, ethnic, jazz, rock, pop and gospel music.  Born in Brooklyn New York, he studied classical music for 10 years in Philadelphia, but took a U turn in his studies in the mid- sixties and decided to pursue more popular music, learning by ear some of his favorites by such greats as Ramsey Lewis, The Beatles, McCoy Tyner and Quincy Jones.

Antti Annola (b. 1989) is a Finnish jazz singer. Annola’s voice has been praised for its warm yet rich timbre combined with his captivating endowment for story-telling. His unique scat improvisation abilities play an essential part in his will to discover new territories in the context of unwritten musical communication and the world of vocal jazz improvisation.
