Cassandra Rapone

Born into an Italian-German family in Sorrento, in 1986, she was catapulted into an international environment from day one, encountering a variety of artistic expressions. At the age of four, having moved with her family to Jerusalem, she began her first studies at the Lycée Français, where she discovered her primary vocation and talent: music. She came into contact with the rich quality of this land’s music, soaking up the melodic and rhythmic subtleties all around her thanks to the cultural exuberance of this highly inspirational and thought-provoking setting. She returned to Italy at the age of 14 and began studying opera singing and the piano with maestro Marianna Maresca

Jackie Messina was lured from success as a writer by the interactive creativity of jazz. She studied at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music with the late Enos Payne and honed improvisational and vocal skills with noted teachers Jay Clayton, Judy Niemack, and Amy London. Known for putting her stamp of originality on "not so standard standards," she has performed at 55 Bar, Smalls, and The Cupping Room Cafe. Necessary Arrangements, her first CD, now on CDBaby, features arrangements by Messina and Enos Payne.

PAUL'S STORY Host of “Jazz at the Twelve” at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, Paul MacKey is known as “The Singer's Singer” THE EARLY YEARS Born into humble surroundings, Paul was given a pair of drum sticks and a drum pad at age 7 so he could begin his musical training, which happened to be all his family could afford at the time. That turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. Having a base in rhythmic patterns made it all the easier when the melody was added. Paul will always be grateful to his uncle, Harley Moore, who played drums in the same band for 50 years

2016 Blues Music Award Winner Billy Price first attracted national attention during his three-year association with guitarist Roy Buchanan. Price is the vocalist on two of Buchanan's LPs, That's What I'm Here For and Live Stock. Since then, with the Keystone Rhythm Band, the Billy Price Band, and solo projects, Billy Price has recorded and released a total of 16 albums, CDs, and DVDs. In April 2016, he was officially recognized and inducted as a Pittsburgh Rock ’n Roll Legend at an award ceremony. Price’s album This Time for Real, with the late Chicago soul singer Otis Clay, received a 2016 Blues Music Award in the category of Best Soul Blues Album of 2015

Suzanne Lorge

Vocalist Suzanne Lorge has three decades of performing experience on global stages, among them the prestigious Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Radio City Music Hall in her hometown of New York City. She’s also contributed to scores of albums, animated films, and commercials as a lead, guest, or backup singer. In addition, she’s recorded two solo albums, Wild Birds (2016, 2020 re-release) and Dark Sky, Waiting (2023).

While her primary mode of musical expression is contemporary jazz, over the years she’s worked across several genres. Notable collaborators include jazz pianists Frank Kimbrough, John DiMartino, and David Budway; celebrated operatic tenor Francisco Casanova; rock guitarist Paul Reed Smith; and award-winning television and theater composer Lanny Meyers.
