John Labelle

Born: May 12, 1968

Born in Montreal, John Labelle has been a jazz fan for as long as he can remember. From an early age, he listened to the great big band vocalists, including Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Rosemary Clooney; and, of course, Frank Sinatra, who would later become one of his greatest influences. To be close to the music he loved, Labelle landed a job at the famous Biddle's Jazz and Ribs nightclub, an institution in Montreal for the last twenty years. Working there, Labelle came into contact with some of Montreal's finest musicians whom he listened to and learned from. He quickly gained a reputation for knowing all the lyrics, and could often be heard singing along with the evening's performers

Sharon Marie Cline

Internationally acclaimed Soulful Jazz vocal stylist Sharon Marie Cline, also known as The Divine Ms. Cline because of the dreamy romantic quality of her voice, has become one of Southern California’s most sought after live performers. Dubbing her live concerts “Love Fests”, she sings some of the music world’s favorite jazz and soul contemporary and classic songs at festivals, jazz clubs and special events worldwide. 

Cline’s unique song styling and sweet intonations combined with her sultriness leaves music aficionados with an experience they will never forget. Influenced by many music giants, including Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, Rachelle Ferrell, and Phyllis Hyman, Sharon Marie offers her own fresh, contemporary touch to jazz, soul and Broadway standards. 

Suzanne Tamim

Born: September 23, 1977

Suzanne Tamim was a Lebanese singer and actress, who rose to fame in the Arab world after having won the top prize in the popular Studio el fan television show in 1996. She was found dead, allegedly murdered in an apartment in Dubai Marina. Tamim won fame after appearing on a TV talent show in Lebanon in 1996, but her career was marred by stories about a troubled private life. Soon afterward, news about her divorce from her first husband Ali Muzannar flooded the media. Tamim later married Lebanese impresario and producer Adel Matouk, who became her manager. Once they divorced, Tamim was thought to have fled from her home in Beirut to Egypt after Matouk filed a series of lawsuits against her, including embezzlement, fraud and slander and libel

Patti Austin

Born: August 10, 1948

Patti Austin’s keen interest in being a total entertainer likely started when she stepped onto the stage of the world-famous Apollo Theater in Harlem at the age of four at the urging of music legend Dinah Washington. The daughter of jazz trombonist Gordon Austin, Patti was a recording star in her teens, achieving her first chart success in 1969 with “The Family Tree” (a Top 50 R&B single) after a string of 45s that would later become treasured collector’s items among Britain’s Northern soul community. 

During the 70s Patti was the undisputed "Queen" of the New York session scene, her voice was heard behind everyone from Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, James Brown and Joe Cocker to Bette Midler, Roberta Flack, Luther Vandross and Diana Ross and on countless memorable commercial jingles. After a series of much-acclaimed albums for CTI Records, she signed with her godfather Quincy Jones’ Qwest label and began achieving mainstream success on an international level thanks to the GRAMMY®-nominated hit "Baby Come To Me," her now classic duet with James Ingram and the follow-up duet, the Oscar-nominated "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?" as well as her appearance on albums with Jones on his best-selling. Stuff Like That, his GRAMMY®--winning classic The Dude and later, his From Q With Love Vols. 1& 2.

Jann Klose

JANN KLOSE is an award-winning* pop singer-songwriter, who has released six albums and two EPs. Klose was raised in Kenya, South Africa, Germany and the United States. His single "Love You the Most" is part of the soundtrack for the movie "Married Young" (Amazon) and has been streamed over 2 million times. Joni Crawford

Joni Crawford, a native of Detroit, Michigan, has always had a passion for music. She attended Wayne State University & Art Center Music School with aspirations of becoming a classical vocalist and music teacher. While attending a performance by the late Sarah Vaughn at The Montreux-Detroit Jazz Festival, she heard Jimmy Wilkins’ 17 piece orchestra and began her love affair with Jazz. Soon after the festival, Crawford gained an opportunity to audition for the orchestra, eventually securing her spot in the band. This grand audition set the stage and sparked her blooming career as a Jazz vocalist

Helen Savari-Renold

Helen Savari-Renold is a co-producer of the 2023 Grammy®-nominated album “Remembering Bob Freedman” by Ron Carter & The Jazzaar Festival Big Band directed by Christian Jacob, in the category of Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album.

Helen was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Together with her sister Irene, she founded the duo Cenderawasih which was signed to EMI in 1984. Their three albums received high acclaim among the Malaysian public spiking sales up to gold records for EMI Malaysia. The Cenderawasih became one of Malaysia’s most popular Pop Duos of the ’80s under the management of their mother, A.I

Laura Coyle

One of the most sought-after singers on the Atlanta jazz scene, Laura Coyle brings a timeless voice and masterful sense of swing to her performances. She collaborates with stellar musicians in small combos and in front of big band orchestras. She sings with a genuine love for the lyrics, and the traditions of jazz music. Coyle has performed at the Atlanta Jazz Festival, the Savannah Music Festival, Cobb Energy Centre, The High Museum, Churchill Grounds, The Jazz Corner, and The Velvet Note. She has released two CDs as bandleader: Laura Coyle, in 2008 and If Poets Sing in 2015. She is currently performing and recording throughout the Southeast as part of the Laura Coyle & Trey Wright Duo.
