Karen Gold

Karen Gold grew up in Toronto in a musically diverse family. In her teens, she performed at the Stratford Festival Theatre in concert with Perth County Conspiracy. Up next was the National Rock Opera Company's Jesus Christ Superstar, under musical director Bill King. Continuing with stage work, Karen had a feature role in the Salome Bey musical, Sweetmama at the Leah Posluns Theatre. Karen joined a “top forty” band called Network. They travelled across Canada, playing four sets a night. During the day, Karen started writing her own songs and eventually decided to go it alone. After performing her songs in clubs for about a year, accompanying herself on guitar, Karen hooked up with pianist / singer / songwriter, David-Paul Erhart

Mariah Hortans / M Sandberg Duo

MARIAH HORTANS / M SANDBERG DUO
Jazz vocalist Mariah Hortans and guitarist Mathias Sandberg have quickly created a niche on the Finnish music scene. Their music, which can be described as cool, intimate, traditional vocal jazz is performed completely live with just one voice and one guitar. The duo have performed extensively in Finland during the last couple of years and have had two successful tours in the USA.

Mariah Hortans is a well respected singer and educator. She graduated from Pietarsaari Conservatory in 2006 and has since kept a busy teaching schedule as well as conducting choirs. Jazz guitarist Mathias Sandberg is one of the most in demand musicians in Ostrobothnia. He has studied at Manhattan Scool of Music in New York and Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has been teaching at all the major music schools, institutes and colleges in Ostrobothnia. Georg Riedel, LaGaylia Frazier, Manuel Dunkel, Pierre Swärd and Jukka Eskola are some of the artists he has worked with.

MJ Territo

MJ Territo sings standards and beyond, scats, writes lyrics and songs. She comes to jazz from the theatre and cabaret, and brings her experience in those forms to her jazz vocal performances. Her latest CD is "Ladies Day", 14 tunes celebrating the compositions of classic and contemporary jazz women, played by a crackerjack ensemble of musicians who happen to be women. MJ is on the teaching artist rosters of ArtsWestchester and Lifetime Arts and enjoys bringing the joys of jazz, blues and improvisation to students of all ages.

Sabrina Rabello

Born and raised within a family of Flamenco performers, Sabrina draws her vibrant musical inspirations from experiences of having lived in Brazil, the United States, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Contrary to the popular singer-songwriter stereotype, Sabrina did not begin her musical training at the young age of five or six, but much later in her adult life. Instead, her youthful passions lead her to pursue higher studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics. Sabrina is completing her PhD in Applied Mathematics at the world famous Imperial College London in England. Nevertheless, a mezze of hard work, dedication and perseverance, with a healthy portion of talent proved to be the winning recipe for Sabrina to break into the European music scene

Sarah Moule

Born: August 5, 1961

During the 2020 lockdown Sarah Moule recorded her fifth studio album, Stormy Emotions. It is released on CD 19th March and Download 3rd May on 33JAZZ (33JAZZ285). The ten previously unrecorded songs by American lyricist the late Fran Landesman (Sring Can Really Hang You Up The Most) and British composer Simon Wallace, bring to 45 the number of Landesman/Wallace songs Sarah has introduced over her 5 albums. Margret Avery

When Margret Avery did her first performance as a singer in NYC her love affair began with entertaining and continues to grow. Since then Margret has gone on to writing some of her own songs while keeping an audience spellbound while expressing some thought provoking material as well as some classic jazz and blues, pop-rock and ballads. While in Paris some years ago Margret had the pleasure of singing with Duke Jordan in an impromptu performance and she has graced the stages in New York. Lee Ryan at WBAI- FM in New York told his listeners that “Margret Avery’s musicality includes a good voice, breath control for a nice long line and a sense of rhythm....a fine singer with her own smart, funny style (another proof that the sexiest part of the body is still the brain)

Ken Ard

Born: June 30, 1960

Ken Ard has originated leading roles in the Broadway companies of, Starlight Express, Dangerous Games and Cats and was nominated for an NAACP Award for his role in the Original Broadway cast of Smoke Joe’s Cafe. Being a two time Grammy Award winning artist for the musical soundtrack recordings of (Smokey’s and Cats) he is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (The Grammys). As a recording artist, He was the lead voice and co-writer for Wet Dreams, on Universal’s cutting edge label, Twisted records. In reviewing their debut release, “Rain” Larry Flick of Billboard Magazine raved, “Soulful star-powered vocals!” The Subsequent single “ Sunrise” was received with international critical acclaim and, by the end of its first week in the stores, was among the Top 40 selling records in America (Billboard Maxi Singles). Ryan Elliott Green

Born: January 9, 1980

Ryan Green is a New York City based singer and theatre performer. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from Baldwin -Wallace College Conservatory of Music in Cleveland. After moving to New York in 2002, he booked an agent and theatre gigs, but also surprisingly discovered a knack for language and learned to speak Portuguese. He then began to follow an interest in Brazilian music which lead him to meet guitarist Scott Anderson and record a bossa nova cd in January 2008, Tive Razao (I Had My Reasons), available on Itunes.com and CdBaby.com Ryan has begun work on a new album which explores classic Brazilian jazz and Fado music from Portugal

Born: June 2, 1964

Still young, she embarked on her journey into singing and guitar as an enthusiastic self-taught artist, driven by an unwavering passion for music.

Her career began in 1986, performing in various venues in Milan and Northern Italy as a singer and guitarist with a repertoire of renowned singer-songwriters and English and American bands such as Joni Mitchell and James Taylor, as well as English and Irish folk music with influences like The Pentangle.

She explored classical singing under the guidance of sopranos Edith Martelli, Mary Lindsay, and Eun Sun Park. Perfecting her vocal technique with the assistance of Andrea Tosoni and Monica Scifo, she immersed herself in the art of jazz through seminars led by luminaries such as Sara Serpa, Sheila Jordan, Kevin Mahogany, Rachel Gould, Patricia Williamson, Jeff Ramsey, and Dennis Montgomery. Additionally, she trained as an actress at the Studio Laboratorio dell'Attore and studied modern dance with Miguel Angel Cragnolini.
