I was witness as a little girl to the Beatle's invasion of America. Thank you God for my being born at that time. I often wonder what it is like for people who missed the phenomenon. Music was a big part of my formative years. My Parents were both very talented Lindy dancers, so we grew up listening to Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, and of course, Frank. On many a magical Saturday evening I watched my Parents gliding out to their dance, my Mother’s Emeraude lingering ever so gently. Ray Vasquez started in the 40’s & 50’s big band, Jazz & Latin Jazz era from Watts, Los Angeles California. Ray Vasquez recorded his album “In the Still of the Night” with George Hernandez and Oliver Berliner in 1959 with a 14 piece orchestra on RCA VICTOR RECORDS. Ray Vasquez worked with Musicians Horace Heidt, Charlie Barnet, Bobby Sherwood, Perez Prado, Lennie Niehaus, Paul Lopez, Manny Lopez, Chico Sesma, Anthony Ortega (his cousin), Phil Carreón, Lionel Hampton, & Don Tosti. After the big band era, Ray Vasquez uses professional aka Ray Victor after graduating from the prestigious Pasadena Playhouse Theater

Her music draws from both the jazz tradition and modern influences, and she has performed at festivals including the Charlie Parker Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and the Inaugural John Coltrane Jazz Festival. Chi is the recipient of the prestigious Alice and John Coltrane Award of Excellence, and has collaborated with jazz legend Reggie Workman, as well as performed with acclaimed musicians such as David Virelles, Jason Marshall, and JSWISS.

Anthony Jefferson

Anthony Jefferson is a person who cares about music, people, and animals. He wants to make a difference in the world and live life to the fullest. The New Orleans native, began singing in his childhood, in an environment rich in: Jazz, Blues and Contemporary R&B, refining it later by studying classical repertoire at the California Institute of the Arts, with Paul Vorwek and continuing at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Prior to forming his own band, Anthony shared the stage with artists such as Mark Rapp, Wille Jones 3rd, Mark Shelby, Bobby Wilson and Brent Rose, just to name a few. The velvety smooth voiced vocalist´s journey through jazz is one of passion, love, attempting to unite different cultures, and bringing harmony to the world through his music.
