Lolita’s Way is comprised of Dolores Reyes Aquino (vocals & keyboard) and Joe Pytel (guitar & percussion), who have been performing for years in the metro-Detroit area both individually and together in various groups. Dolores has a background in classical and jazz as the youngest of 10 children in a musical family. Joe is a self-taught guitarist and drummer specializing in progressive rock. They have now combined their musical talents to form a unique style of original jazz/blues/rock/pop selections as Lolita’s Way. LW's songs have been compared to music from artists such as Fiona Apple, Feist, Regina Spektor, and Adele because of their piano driven songs and strong female vocals, yet their songs have hints of jazz, progressive rock, blues, and cabaret.

Deborah Connors

Deborah's musical influence began early in life, listening to the likes of Stan Getz, Larry Novak, Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans with her father, Chicago based jazz pianist and upright bass player, Bill Connors. Her mother Diane would break out her acoustic guitar and encourage her to sing. Those family jam sessions would send her down a lifelong path of writing, producing, performing and more. Deborah, a veteran of the Chicago music scene, writing and producing music since she was a teen, worked at the legendary Chicago Trax Recording Studios for several years with talents such as R Kelly, Ministry's, Al Jorgenson, George Harrison, Liz Phair, Trent Reznor, as well as some of the great Chicago House artists such as Farley "Jackmaster Funk" and Joe Smooth
