Carol Welsman

True to the theme of her new album, Carol Welsman’s travels these past few years have taken her everywhere from a performance in Marian McPartland’s “Friends” evening at Dizzy’s in New York to appearances such as “one of Oscar Peterson’s favorite singers” in the first of a six concert series paying tribute to the legendary pianist in Toronto. In 2011, the singer performed 18 concerts in Japan to a total of over 30,000 fans, mostly at venues holding over 2,000 people. Her gold selling Japanese only release Memories of You featured clarinetist Ken Peplowski and was voted the #1 album of 2009 by Jazz Critics Magazine

Born: February 5, 1988

Entdeckte seine Stimme im jugendlichen Alter von 13 Jahren als Schlagzeuger der Geraer Jazzband Black&Blue.Seit 9 Jahren arbeitet er an seiner eigenen Stimme und erhielt Unterricht und Einfluesse unter Anderem von Ingeborg Sadlik, Sabine Kuehlich, Sheila Jordan, Josee Koning, Judy Niemack und Bob Stoloff. Alex ist unter dem Kuenstlernamen Alac Sanders derzeit Saenger verschiedener Jazz-, Country- und Bigbands in Deutschland und den USA. Dazu zaehlen die Landesjugendbigband Thueringen, das Hessian-State-Youth- Jazz-Orchestra, JazzCabOnDuty und das Jazztrio TRIJAZZA, sowie die Alac Sanders-Showband. Durch viele Konzertreisen, beispielsweise nach Frankreich, Italien, Ungarn und verschiedene Staaten der USA, bekam er die Moeglichkeit mit Groessen wie Liz Mc Comb, Christian Frank, Bob Lanese, Sheila Jordan, Jiggs Wigham, Wolfgang Diefenbach, Josee Koning und Georg Maus zusammen zu arbeiten.

Anne Walsh

Born Anne Valerie Walsh in Worcester, Massachusetts into a musical family. Her father Frank was a baritone/tenor who sang in many productions for local light opera companies. Early on, Anne’s parents knew they had a singer on their hands. After taking her to see a local production of “Oklahoma” she continued to sing the melodies from the score all the way home. Anne humorously recalls, “At age seven, I wanted to be Shirley Jones.”

​After her high school choir girl days, Anne went on to attend Anna Maria College where she studied voice and music therapy. However, she wanted more in the form of a performance career. After graduation the determined young singer ventured out to southern California to pursue her dream. Upon arriving in LA, she put her degree to work helping people through the use of music therapy; while in the evenings taking any stage with an open mic she could find, and heeding the advice of her favorite voice teacher back home “Anne, sing at any dog show you can find.”

Kelley Johnson

Kelley Johnson reaches her audience with storytelling, subtlety, soulfulness and swing. Twice chosen to be a Musical Ambassador abroad, her quartet auditioned live and was chosen by Wynton Marsalis and Lincoln Center in 2007, and the Kennedy Center in 2004 for lengthy tours for the US State Department. Kelley is the 2003 first place winner of the International Jazzconnect Vocal Competition, and the Jazz Education Journal listed her “Live at Birdland” as a Blue Chip Jazz Vocal album of 2004. Most recently, the CD recording “Music is the Magic” with it’s passionate world-view and original spoken-word, rose to#15 on the national jazz radio chart, Jazzweek

Songwriter/singer.. songwriter first because that's my passion. My musical style is ‘eclectic soul’ because whether R&B, jazz, pop, dance, adult contemporary, country, world or folk…it’s all done with a soulful R&B verve. I truly feel music can be a powerful voice for change, so I write about real life as well as what I wish it could be. My first album... "Life, Love, Lessons & Jazz" is autobiographical of my life, love, lessons I've learned and my new love... Jazz.

Alex Stewart

Just 21 years of age, singer Alex Stewart is already creating a buzz as one of the most precociously talented vocalists of the new generation.

With a voice rooted in Connick and Sinatra, and with a touch of the Kurt Elling rasp, Stewart avoids being a nostalgia act by a judiciously off-beat choice of material and a decidedly contemporary energy level.

As well as clever re-arrangements of great standards, he translates the occasional pop song into jazz and adds some originals, including songs by pianist Alex Webb.

Wife, Mother of 3 and Grandmother of 4. I been Singing since I was teenager in chuches all around in my hometown. I worked as a Deputy Clerk with Miami Dade Clerk of Courts/Criminal Division for 21 years before Retiring/Resigning where I Sing dedications upon request of Co-Workers.
