Camille Millar

Born: September 11

Trained in vocal jazz under Kelly Eisenhower (backup singer for Gladys Knight), Camille has soloed with the premier big band, Synthesis, and was a member of the first 9-girl acapella group to win the International Championships of Collegiate Acappella, the story behind the movie Pitch Perfect. Camille has won solo competitions at festivals and invitationals across the country, and currently plays "Rapunzel" and "Ariel" with Royal Promise Productions. She has performed in over 25 musical theater productions and met her husband when they were leading roles in Beauty and the Beast.

Susie Smooth Duo Patman

I am the singer in Smooth Duo. I have a deep & rich contralto voice. Smooth and relaxing style. I like to sing softly and emotively. I am passionate about bringing out the feeling the lyrics evoke. My Duo partner Andy plays bongos, congas, blues harmonica plus some sax and keyboards. We specialise in cool background music with a hint of relaxing jazz and blues. We play a selection of music from the Great American Songbook and the cocktail jazz club era plus some 80's classics in the cocktail lounge jazz style, designed to appeal to a wide variety of tastes. We are based in Nottinghamshire, close to the borders of Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. SMOOTH DUO have opened for many 'name' acts, including The Osmond Brothers, Ken Dodd, Russell Watson, Billy Ocean, Lulu, the National Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and Lance Ellington. We played live at the Granada TV studios for the cast and crew of Coronation Street after the iconic live 50th Anniversary episode and have performed many times for the cast and crew of ITV's Emmerdale.

Brian Varner

Bryan's love of music started when he joined band in his teens. He earned a music scholarship to UT and studied classical trumpet. He found his singing voice in his 30s. As a vocalist he has a background in choral music and musical theater, but his main interest is jazz from the great American songbook. He has been a featured guest singer at different venues around Knoxville including the Red Piano Lounge and has earned air time on Kelle Jolly’s jazz jam show on WUOT public radio. Brian lost his eyesight as an adult which makes his story as a vocalist and a musician even more remarkable.

Jamile

Born: December 19, 1995

With a deep and versatile voice, rising star vocalist Jamile is leaving her mark wherever she goes.

Her latest album Daring Two Be (under La Reserve Records) was made in collaboration with guitarist Tony Davis and features the great Steve Wilson on alto saxophone.

​Her first album entitled 'If You Could See Me Now’ in 2019 was considered “(…) sharp, confident and professional” (Martin McFie, All About Jazz), and featured some of New York’s finest musicians Steve Wilson, Ray Gallon, Jay Leonhart, Vito Lesczak and Antonio Ciacca.

Originally from Brazil, she has been a working vocalist from a young age and was a featured singer in the musical ‘Eu Sou Maria (Nativitaten)’, the largest outdoor Christmas project in the world, for an audience of 500,000 people throughout the season.

Jo Gore

Born: January 1, 1995

Jo Gore is a mezzo soprano who sounds like the grown-up nerdy love child between tina turner and amy winehouse. jo gore's delivery is a unique blend of tina's grit and soul coupled with amy's rawness and sophistication. And the uniqueness of this coupling gives rise to a most amazing style that belongs to jo alone; a style which destines jo to be one this era's iconic voices.

Jane George

Grace Moore recipient at University of Tennessee School of Music. Has performed as vocalist, actress, and worked in stand-up comedy. Jane George recently moved to Knoxville from Los Angeles where she performs with SWINGBOOTY and is involved with numerous personal recording projects.

Lauren Desberg

Lauren Desberg’s songs are not the dated sounds of speakeasies and flappers, nor are they the type to be tucked into small lounges or clubs. Lauren’s voice and music fuse together the past and the present, combining classic jazz standards and measures with today’s popular music and lyrics. It’s meant for iPhone’s- morning train commutes and cocktail party playlists. The Harlem-based vocalist simultaneously pays homage to traditional jazz while adding her own contemporary feel—she embodies the spirit of her generation yet defies expectations all the same. Lauren grew up in Los Angeles, CA—born to a musical family who had her singing from day one

Lizzi Trumbore

Born: July 25, 1996

Chicago based vocalist and composer Lizzi Trumbore infuses catchy melodies, lush harmonies, introspective lyrics, and genre-bending grooves to create a unique spin on both the pop and jazz idioms. Her debut album "Lifelines" is set to release in the fall of 2019. Lizzi is a published songwriter and arranger who’s original compositions have been performed by collegiate and professional vocal groups throughout the country and at the JEN (The Jazz Education Network) and ACDA (American Choral Director’s Association) conferences. Her songs have been described as "world class," "sincere and intelligently crafted," and "full of beautiful surprises." She skillfully combines a vibrant and youthful perspective on songwriting while still capturing a mature depth and understanding of the art form
