Kelli Campbell
Born:
Kelli is a natural born singer with musical roots that run deep. Her melodic voice, which takes you back to an era with the likes of Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, was developed under the tutelage of her mother, a classically trained pianist and violinist. Her father, a singer and poet, also lends his talents to the gene pool. Her parents performed and recorded music with a variety of gospel choirs and groups. Kelli recalls many rehearsals that took place right in her living room while she sat and dreamed of the day she would be able to join in. Her favorite memories would be of her mother and father sitting around the piano singing playing those, what she called, “old songs”
