Virginie Capizzi

Virginie Capizzi, née en 1977, commence son parcours musical par le piano classique et débute jeune adolescente l’étude du piano jazz avec Olivier Léger. Le chant n'est encore qu'un loisir et un plaisir personnel pratiqués à la maison... Après des études à Science Po Paris dont elle sort diplomée en 1999, et un DEA d'histoire en poche (2001), elle entame une formation de jazz vocal à l'ARIAM ( Daniella Barda, Isabelle Carpentier, Thierry Péala) puis à la Bill Evans Piano Academy où elle suit les cours de Sara Lazarus Parallèlement, elle poursuit sa formation en piano jazz auprès de Richard Turegano au conservatoire de St-Mandé où elle obtient son CFEM en juin 2011 . Sa rencontre avec le gutiariste Reno João en 2003 a vu la naissance d’un duo qui devient, avec l'arrivée du contrebassiste Tommaso Montagnani, le Capizzi Trio. C'est l'époque des premières compositions, des premières chansons à partir de poèmes que Virginie écrit et met en musique, et des premiers concerts. En 2006, naît le "Virginie Capizzi 4tet" autour du répertoire original de la jeune chanteuse qui développe un jazz vocal en français qui flirte avec la chanson

Lila Ammons

Lila Ammons has forged a path in music that at once honors tradition and her own expressive impulses. Beginning her vocal career in opera houses and concert halls, she later returned to her familial roots in jazz and the boogie woogie tradition (she is the niece of tenor sax titan Gene “Jug” Ammons and the granddaughter of the great boogie woogie pianist, Albert Ammons). She gained popular and critical acclaim touring Europe and Brazil with German pianist Axel Zwingenberger, and as feature vocalist with the ABC&D of Boogie Woogie Quartet with Zwingenberger and Charlie Watts. Kurt Reichenbach

Jazz singer Kurt Reichenbach is the son of Bossa Nova pioneering drummer Bill Reichenbach Sr. (Tommy Dorsey, Art Mooney, Charlie Byrd), and brother of internationally renowned trombonist Bill Reichenbach (Buddy Rich, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Quincy Jones).

His intimate, mellow vocal delivery (which has drawn comparisons to such jazz legends as Chet Baker, Mel Torme, and Bobby Darin), and sly interpretations of the Great American Songbook, have combined to earn Reichenbach recognition as a formidable talent by critics and musicians alike.

Amber Navran is a LA based singer, producer, and woodwind player. She is a member of the neo-soul trio Moonchild. Jill Salkin

Jill Salkin describes herself to be a hybrid singer and songwriter. Her many musical influences include Motown, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Sarah Vaughan, Patti Austin, Chaka Khan, and Steely Dan. Jill started writing poetry at 14, and and then began writing songs, accompanying herself with guitar and piano. Her voice study began at 16, which she continued through college and beyond. Her earliest performances were in coffee houses, and through the years, Jill has honed her craft as a singer and performer in a variety of venues such as clubs, in casino lounges and as a background vocalist for showroom headliners in Atlantic City, recording projects, and jazz clubs in Philadelphia and New York City. In 2001, Jill released her first CD, Heart’s Desire, a collection of her original songs, which had some select airplay
