Trip Trio

The trio that's a quartet Mike Barnes, consumate guitarist, is a veteran of the Austin, TX music scene, fluent in blues, soul, rock, funk, R&B, and jazz. He was a founding member of Austin funk legends Steam Heat, and is a sustaining member of its spawn Extreme Heat. In the late 90s he was also an original member of the funky pop group Millennium Swing/Blue Millennium. Trip Trio allows Mike to really shine! 'Solid son' bassist Brad Taylor has performed with Carol Channing, Sam Moore, Bo Diddley, Jonas Alvarez, La Vida Buena, Los Jazz Vatos, and Native Sun. Besides his prowess on the six-string bass, Brad also does the high vocal harmonies that Lissa so appreciates! James Fenner, Austin’s favorite percussionist, has performed and/or recorded with everyone from Freddy Fender to Stephen Bruton to Eric Johnson to Joe Ely to Christopher Cross to Luther Tucker to TripTrio! Lissa Hattersley, who as an original member of the Greezy Wheels is in the Austin Music Hall of Fame (2013), enjoys dabbling in many genres of song, making her music hard to categorize

AZ Lindy Hop Society

Born: April 9, 1996

The Arizona Lindy Hop Society is dedicated to preserving vintage vernacular Jazz and Blues dance and music within the Arizona community through social dance and education in order to bring joy into people's lives. Founded in 1996, the AZ Lindy Hop Society promotes jazz dance and music through live concerts, workshops, classes, and exchanges. We also have an education outreach program teaching dance in the public schools.

Zona Sud

At the end of 2010, Mario Schettini (piano and keyboards) and Guglielmo Saracca (bass) met to give life to a new musical project. There were many ideas but the project did not yet have its own identity. Only a year later, in 2011, with the entry of guitarist Enzo Passaro, it’s more clear the idea of experiment and merge melodies and colors linked to the sounds of Neapolitan music with the expressive and improvisational freedom that distinguishes jazz. In 2012 with the entryl of Massimo Pacella on drums, the project takes concrete form and born "Zona Sud", a band strongly linked with its homeland. Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra

The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra, based in Annapolis, MD, is “the premier American ragtime ensemble” as hailed by the Washington Post, and is rapidly becoming the leading professional ragtime orchestra in the United States. Formed by young virtuoso Andrew Greene at the University of Maryland in 2010, the PRSO recreates the syncopated stylings from a bygone era – ragtime, musical theater, dance selections, and silent film accompaniment – all performed off of the original turn-of-the-century orchestral scores. The ensemble is primarily composed of young musicians, age 35 and below, and has been widely praised for their work preserving and performing America’s musical past

As vocalist, pianist, composer and producer, Fiona has become known for creating her own contemporary jazz sound incorporating fast paced Latin Jazz, vintage Jazz club, a little neo soul along with heart wrenching ballads. She came to the world's attention as ‘the artist that gave Ed Sheeran his ‘first push’ but very quickly established herself as an artist in her own right and has received incredible reviews and awards across the globe for all of her albums.

Jazz Martyrs

In 2011, Paul Marangoni assembled some great jazz musicians in Los Angeles and began creating music. Sharing a common appreciation for the music of Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Joshua Redman, and other contemporary jazz artists, they proceeded to work on building a repertoire reflecting their musical tastes.
