Trip Trio

The trio that's a quartet Mike Barnes, consumate guitarist, is a veteran of the Austin, TX music scene, fluent in blues, soul, rock, funk, R&B, and jazz. He was a founding member of Austin funk legends Steam Heat, and is a sustaining member of its spawn Extreme Heat. In the late 90s he was also an original member of the funky pop group Millennium Swing/Blue Millennium. Trip Trio allows Mike to really shine! 'Solid son' bassist Brad Taylor has performed with Carol Channing, Sam Moore, Bo Diddley, Jonas Alvarez, La Vida Buena, Los Jazz Vatos, and Native Sun. Besides his prowess on the six-string bass, Brad also does the high vocal harmonies that Lissa so appreciates! AZ Lindy Hop Society

The Arizona Lindy Hop Society is dedicated to preserving vintage vernacular Jazz and Blues dance and music within the Arizona community through social dance and education in order to bring joy into people's lives. Founded in 1996, the AZ Lindy Hop Society promotes jazz dance and music through live concerts, workshops, classes, and exchanges. We also have an education outreach program teaching dance in the public schools.
