Earthy yet educated; simple yet soulful; funky and fun; Valerie MIZE’s music is immediately appealing to the eclectic in everyone. With influences ranging from Hometown to Motown, this Oklahoma born, NYC and Nashville based songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist rubs some rootsy Red Dirt on her classical upbringing. After earning her degree in Music (on scholarship with a dual emphasis in Jazz and Classical Voice), MIZE moved to New York City to build a band and further her musical endeavors.
