Ty Hoying lives in Stockholm, Sweden where he works as a freelance musician and as a music educator at Kulturama and Södra Latin gymnasium. He emigrated from the USA in early 2013, shortly after completing a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. Ty is excited to bring his style of improvised music to Sweden and the European Union, but he still loves to play for audiences at home in North America, too. He is available for private lessons in piano and improvisation, live gigs, studio work, accompaniment, and is accepting commissions for composition.
