Hakan Trygger

Born: January 19, 1971

Håkan Trygger is double bass player, arranger, composer and bandleader from Stockholm. Presently he is a member of Coco Chatru Quartet, and he writes for his band Ballin' The Jack Orchestra. Håkan is the founder of the jazz record lable Trygger Music. Håkan plays both traditional jazz and contemporary music styles. He also works with experimental project that combines improvisational music with other art forms, such as dance, film, poetry, drama. Håkan has played in many band, among others Gugge Hedrenius Big Blues Band. Håkan studied at the Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm
