Tom Green

Winner of the 2013 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition, Tom Green is a trombonist, composer and arranger described as "a new rising star in the British jazz scene" by Nigel Williams (Jazz FM). In 2014 he was mentioned 3 times as Jazzwise "One to Watch", and was the recipient of a Help Musicians UK Emerging Excellence award. He is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music jazz course, and has performed at venues including Ronnie Scott's, the Vortex and 606 Club, as well as the Montreux, Toronto and Montreal Jazz Festivals. His current main project is the Tom Green Septet, who released their debut album "Skyline" in February 2015 to unanimous critical acclaim. Tom has directed his own groups and big bands on national tours, including an 18-date Septet album launch tour across the UK, from Inverness in Scotland to St Ives in Cornwall

Chris "Crash" Clifton

Trombonist and vocalist Chris “Crash” Clifton started to play trombone at the age of 11 as a member of the Whitby Brass band in Ontario, Canada. Chris attended Humber College in Toronto. He played on the S.S. Norway from 1980 to 1986, backing up hundreds of name entertainers. Chris moved to the United States in 1986 to pursue his musical career. Chris won an audition for a trombone position in the Walt Disney World Band and played there from 1987 to 2000. He still continues his employment with the WDW Corporation playing with many bands on property. He also finds time to play with many local jazz bands in the Tampa Bay area, including Dick Maley’s WYSIWYG Jazz Band

Amongst the most gifted Dutch jazz trombone players of his generation, both as a soloist and lead trombonist; now emerging as a refined composer and arranger as well. Besides his own band VINCENT VENEMAN 10, he's also a member of various other groups such as the Clazz Ensemble, The Very Next and Polder. Sits in with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and the Metropole Orchestra frequently. Has performed with Kurt Elling, Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, Christian McBride, Snarky Puppy, Roy Hargrove, the New York Voices, Benny Golson and many other jazz giants. Vincent appears on the Grammy-award winning album 'Sylva' by Snarky Puppy & the Metropole Orchestra, both in the orchestra as well as a featured soloist
