Tim Kiah

Tim Kiah is a Brooklyn based composer, vocalist, and bassist. As a composer, his works have been premiered at venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie hall, and have been broadcast on NPR. As a member and composer of the Chelsea Symphony, he premiered his tenth symphonic work with the orchestra this season. As a vocalist, bass player, and arranger, Tim tours internationally. He performs many genres of music, including Americana, jazz, classical, and avant-garde. He has been aired on NPR, BBC, and NDR, with and is a featured member and co-composer in Roy Nathanson’s Sotto Voce ensemble. Kiah is also a member of a group led by the iconic mandolinist and clarinetist Andy Statman, and has recorded and performed with Deborah Harry, Joan LaBarbara, and Lenny Kravitz
