Tomer Sasson

Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1994, Tomer Sasson is an accomplished young guitar player living and working in Tel Aviv, Israel. As a highly sought-after sideman, Tomer has been a frequent band member with many notable Israeli musicians such as Dan Benedikt (drums), Gadi Stern (piano), Alon Benjamini (drums), and many more. Sasson is currently collaborating with the acclaimed award-winning international band Salosh as part of a weekly residency at Tassa club in Tel Aviv. In addition, Sasson is an artist in residence at the prestigious Israeli world-renowned venue Beit-Haamudim (one of the best jazz clubs in the world, according to DownBeat) and at the Jazz Mirage Kissa club

Ron Magril

Ron Magril (born November 30th, 1997) is a rising jazz guitarist and composer from Tel Aviv, Israel.

These days, He is performing regularly as a leader and as a sideman with leading Israeli artists  , having played at “Beit Ha’ammudim Jazz club”,  “the Vortex Jazz Club“ The Red Sea Jazz Festival” and  “Heichal Hatarbut Tel Aviv” among other great venues and festivals around the world

 

He started his musical journey at a young age, with his classical violinist grandfather teaching him to play the violin, he then fell in love with the guitar, and studied at Israel’s top jazz schools.  Ron was awarded a scholarship from the “New school” in New York(2019), the AICF(2018-2020) and ‘Ran Baron’ excellence scholarships(2016). These days Ron is being supported by the Israel’s Ministry of culture and sports. He received this support in order to encourage him to play his music internationally.

Ella Mar is 26-year-old Israeli multi-genre singer, songwriter and guitarist Hila Tako. During her mandatory military service, she studied at a branch of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music (Manhattan) in Tel Aviv Conservatory, always feeling like a bit of an alien. In a decisive break from tradition, instead of completing her bachelor studies by singing jazz classics in elegant dresses and heels, she made the decision to grab her guitar(s) and unleash the dark and gifted singer- songwriter she was all along. In 2016, Mar teamed up with Shahar Elisof, an Israeli producer whose signature ambient sounds, delicate string arrangements and beats brought new life to Ella Mar’s music

Rea Meir

Rea Meir is an Israeli saxophone and EWI player, arranger and composer. The Rea Meir Group was formed in 2018 near the release of Rea Meir's debut album – Stellar Objects. The group plays original instrumental fusion jazz, for lack of better definition, but with influences from various musical genres. Band members are: Rea Meir – EWI, Shai Sobol – Guitar, Yaniv Shalev – Bass, Itay HIbsher – Drums. Since the release of Rea Meir's debut album in Aug 2018, the group had released a live show album "Stellar Objects – Live" , published on Feb 2019. Although The Rea Meir Group was formed recently, the band members have been playing together on different occasions for over 20 years, which create a unique level of chemistry on stage

Pablo Embon

Pablo Embon has released 18 albums to date. All his music is performed, recorded, mixed and produced by himself. Amongst the music tracks, there is a multitude of jazz stylings. Pablo originally hails from Argentina, rich in its history of tango and Andean folk music, where he learned from famed classical guitarist Eduardo Isaac. Pablo played in several modern bands and as a single musician in his youth. Embon started his music education at very young age. As a child he developed intuitive composition skills, adopting piano and guitar as his core musical instruments. Later on, he pursued advanced music education in the composition and harmonization fields and won recognitions in several public music contests in Argentina. When later in life, Embon immigrated to Israel , its unique blend of world music and Middle Eastern music no doubt had an influence on the musician who at this point had already spent years creating and performing unique modern and alternative jazz compositions

The band, two-horns strong and backed by the classic piano, bass and drums unit, continues to strike ripples in their near and farther surroundings. One of Israel’s busiest reed players and band leaders in the world/jazz/indie scene, Eyal Talmudi has been touring with Balkan Beat Box, Kutiman Orchestra and Oy Division for the past decade and working with other projects including Malox and Time Groove. Influenced by music including folk, punk and jazz, Talmudi brings his creativity and groove to everything he plays. Talmudi’s adventurous Chant Records debut features Sefi Zisling on trumpet, Uzi Feinerman on guitar, Gilad Abro on bass and Aviv Cohen on drums. Eyal Talmudi born in Israel 1979 , plays Saxophone and Clarinet since the age of 8 . Classical and Jazz training along alternative , experimental and rock scene has made Talmudi into a multi genre musician leading world wide career with many different bands and ensembles . Gidi Derzy

Gidi Derzy was born in to a musical family, started piano lessons in age of 6 with classical music till 13, Also listened to jazz, funk, rock & pop at that time. Then he moved to jazz and other geners he started to compose and arrange his own music. In 17 years old he decided to study in a conservatory on Jazz genre. Gidi graduated 2 jazz conservatory's on the first one he played in a local jazz big band of the conservatory in the north of Israel and the second was in Tel Aviv till the age of 25. ​ Along the way he played with different band's and genres like - blues, jazz, fusion, funk, soul, hip hop, reggae, rock, progressive and more. Gidi recorded & produced couple of albums and singles to different artists in Israel includes his own projects.

Mattan Klein was born and raised in Jerusalem He had studied at the Rubin Academy in Jerusalem, and had graduated with honors from the Berklee College of Music in Boston Mattan is winner of the 1st prize in the 2018 international ‘7 Virtual Jazz Club Web Community Award’! His original compositions have also earned him awards such as the John Lennon songwriting contest, and the USA Songwriting competition. He had received scholarships from the AICF, The municipality of Jerusalem and the Israeli Ministry of Culture. He is also the Recipient of the ACUM Scholarships for emerging artists (Israeli Agency for Composers and Musicians). Mattan had performed on stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, NJPAC, and more
