Swing Shift is a group of Victoria based musicians with a passion for jazz music and a love of sharing this music with others!
The band specializes in contemporary jazz music that is easily enjoyable by a wide audience, due to its melodic qualities, familiar song structures, and blend of jazz with other genres like bossa nova & pop.
Using the American Songbook as their starting point the group interprets classic jazz and pop tunes in fresh new ways to deliver an upbeat, dynamic show with wide appeal.
With a diverse repertoire and sound, the band can "shift " comfortably between enjoyable listening music, upbeat dance tunes and mellow ambiance music.
