Spenser Liszt fronts the self titled Dallas, TX band Spenser Liszt and His Disciples. Organic composition and pure improvisation are the foundations of his jazz-influenced group. Liszt released his debut album Until Further Notice (Armored Records) in January of 2014. Protruding from an entirely non-musical family, saxophonist Spenser Liszt has followed his dreams of performing professionally. As a native of Dallas, Texas, Liszt showed interest in music at an early age learning violin and piano before taking up saxophone in 1999. Liszt holds a Master of Music in jazz studies at the University of North Texas under the apprenticeship of Brad Leali
