Sliders

Sliders is an Italian jazz trombone trio featuring Lorenzo Manfredini, Federico Pierantoni and Filippo Vignato (they played in the Unscientific Italians, Play The Music Of Bill Frisell Vol. 1 & 2, Hora, 2021 and 2022, but not as a trio, and Pierantoni also played in Frisell’s Orchestras, Blue Note, 2024). The self-titled debut album of Sliders was recorded at AngelicA Festival Centro di Ricerca Musicale, Teatro San Leonardo in Bologna in July 2024. This trio attempts to explore the infinite sonic possibilities of the trombone.
