Musician

Steve Sieck

Previously active in New York City as a songwriter and singer/pianist, I moved to Los Angeles in 2021. My music aims to mix pop, jazz, and R&B genres with meaningful lyrics and a soulful delivery. My major musical influences include Donald Fagen, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dorough, and Kurt Weill.

My first album, "21st Century Blues" was nominated for a MAC Award* as "Best Recording" in 2014.  In TalkinBroadway.com, reviewer Rob Lester described it as "Well worth the listen…wry observational humor and the low-key approach remind me of jazz wit stalwart Mose Allison in writing and singing…but seriousness is only inches below the surface, making this CD deepen with repeated listening…a feel-good experience with some gratifying grit."

About Grace Kelly

Musician

Grace Kelly

Born:

As Grace Kelly defiantly reminds us on The Other One, a standout number from her upcoming

Album, Trying To Figure It Out, she’s not looking to be like anyone else. “Got my own thing,” she sings over the song’s urban, trance-like groove. Although the singer and saxophone player has been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike as a jazz musician, the track’s exhilarating chorus, haunting keyboard hook and brittle electro edge show an artist interested only in playing what she loves labels be damned.

While a current Kelly concert might delight jazz purists with Great American Songbook standards, it could just as easily inspire mainstream listeners with Gracei-fied takes on the likes of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, Coldplay’s Magic or Sia’s Chandelier.

About Kenny Peagler

Musician

Kenny Peagler

Born:

Kenny Peagler grew up in Pittsburgh, shaped by a city where music is both heritage and expectation. From Billy Strayhorn to Art Blakey to Ahmad Jamal, he absorbed a lineage of jazz that felt less like influence than atmosphere.

He began with classical piano, drawn first to discipline and form. At Pittsburgh’s High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, jazz became a living language, soon joined by R&B and soul. The Hammond B3 marked a turning point, becoming central to his sound and identity.

Peagler studied at the New England Conservatory and developed a style that resists easy categorization. Classical music gives it structure, jazz gives it freedom, and R&B and soul ground it in feeling.
