Pianist, keyboards' player and composer of Siena, he began his jazz studies under the guidance of Luca Flores. In the middle eighty he attends to the "Jazz Music Seminars" in Siena with the teacher Franco D'Andrea and then with Enrico Pieranunzi and Stefano Battaglia. After some studies in the field of musical science and concert experiences of jazz and fusion, he makes part of the group "Lares", founded by Daniele Fusi (Sergio Gistri, Dario Cecchini, Stefano Scalzi, Mauro Grossi, Nico Vernuccio, Daniele Fusi), with whom he records a collection of original songs dedicated to Mandela. For the "Lares", in a new formation with Bruno Tommaso and Eugenio Colombo, he embarked on a project inspired to italian and french polyphonies of XIV century, reviewed and rearranged in a jazz key. He also recorded a CD with the group "Il Volo di Lindbergh" (Raffaele Brancati, Mariano Di Nunzio, Amedeo Ronga and Daniele Fusi) about music of Kurt Weill; the CD has been reviewed by the american "All about Jazz". He partecipated with different formations to several national and international festival: Umbria Jazz, Palermo, Siena Jazz, Doetinchem (Olanda), Anversa (Belgio) ect. He collaborated for the theatre with actors like Sergio Castellitto, Margaret Mazzantini, Marco Messeri. Beyond many records and concert activity, he took part to television programs dedicated to jazz music. In the years 2001-2002 he partecipated to the shows of "Notturno Etrusco", with Ilaria Occhini and Alessandro Haber; for this series of shows he also arranged and composed a part of the soundtrack. It came out in 2002 the CD "Antologia Italiana", recorded in duo with the violin player Rino Adamo, with whom he collaborates to a project about compositions of italian contemporary jazz. With his quintet ("CORBINI-FRANCESCHINI Quintet" with Stefano Franceschini, Mariano Di Nunzio, Bruno Tommaso and Paolo Corsi) he recorded the CD "Amazing", came out in June 2003 for the Splasc(h) Records, inspired to the music of Steve Swallow. In the 2003 he founded with Rino Adamo and the bassist Giovanni Maier the trio " Adamo-Corbini-Maier Trio" based on Eric Dolphy music (the cd "Playing With Eric" is been realized on June 2004).
