London based Saxophonist Chris Rand grew up on the south coast of Dorset. He moved to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music. Chris quickly became one of the UK’s top saxophone side men playing and recording throughout the world with many of UK’s top Jazz and Blues artists. Chris has performed alongside the likes of Charlie Watts, Mick Taylor, Dennis Chambers, and Jools Holland. He has toured with bands such as The James Hunter Six, Bad Manners, Nine Below Zero and Squeeze. In 2014 Chris formed his own quartet “The Chris Rand Quartet” as a vehicle for his own compositions

Azar Lawrence led a very musical childhood and began playing drums at the age of five and moved onto violin and piano under the direction of his mother Ima Lawrence. Ima, a gifted musician and teacher from whom Azar received his acute flair for all things music has shaped many successful musicians. Azar began playing with the USC JR Orchestra at the age of five. He played violin until the age of 8. He performed vocals accompanied by his mother during elementary school where she taught sixth grade and music At age eleven he began hearing a different musical voice. Tenor, soprano and alto saxophone (flute, clarinets), band leader and composer. Pernille Bevort was born in Denmark 1966. She started playing the recorder at the age of seven. When she was fourteen she changed to the soprano saxophone and a couple of years later she bought a tenor saxophone, which became her main instrument. Pernille Bevort was nineteen when she was first introduced to modern jazz, such as Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter. The following years her fascination with jazz increased with the characteristic creative element in this type of music.
