Peggy Morris
Born:
Husband and wife music team Peggy and Bob Morris have created their own style of communication in Morris Code, a unique blend of jazz and pop that is driving the Cleveland-area group to instant popularity among jazz listeners. At Morris Code's core is Peggy, a multi-talented musician and songwriter who leads the group with a charismatic, unmatched enthusiasm. She moves effortlessly from soulful vocalizations to explosive saxophone and passionate flute solos. As bassist, Bob provides the band's backbone with a unique approach to each song's harmonic structure. Meanwhile, drummer Chris Ceja delivers a bottomless groove that keeps audiences on their feet. The Morrises spent more than a decade touring with various groups throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe before returning to Cleveland where Morris Code was created out of a burning desire to write, record and perform their own music. The couple's efforts laid the groundwork for their '96 release, "On My Way Home." In 1998 the pair teamed with drummer Chris Ceja and keyboardist/producer Aaron Lindsey to create Morris Code's second 11-song CD, "Just For You." Their third CD, "Code a la Mode", was released in July of 2002 and one of the stand out tracks involved their first internet collaboration with a superb keyboardist, Mathias Claus from Germany

Noah Peterson
Born:
Noah Peterson is a delightful and emotional saxophonist. His recordings have been broadcastacross the globe and he tours throughout the United States at nightclubs, festivals, schools, community events, private concerts, hospitals, and more. Noah has a stellar reputation as ahard-working, hard-playing musician. He’s been a section leader, sideman, band leader, composer, arranger, producer and business manager for Blues, Funk, Rock, Folk, Gospel, Avant-garde,West African Marimba/mbira, Reggae, Pop, Jazz, zydeco, easy listening, and jam bands.
Noah grew up in Billings, MT as the youngest of four and son of a band director. All of the familyplayed musical instruments although there was never much of an emphasis put on music asanything other than a hobby. Noah's dad had a reputation for having "A bible in one-hand and ashotgun in the other." All of the kids grew up strong. A lot of that was probably due to the roughand tumble attitude of Noah and his brothers and their ability to take their lumps when it cametheir time. Suffice to say country roots are the best roots.
