Yuto Mitomi

Yuto Mitomi is a saxophonist, woodwinds player, jazz composer, and arranger based in New York City. As an internationally recognized artist hailing from both Japan and the USA, Mitomi has garnered acclaim for his innovative approach to jazz and a distinctive sound that blends tradition with modernity.
After moving to New York City and graduating with a BFA in Jazz program from The City College of New York, Mitomi began performing regularly in the local jazz scene. He has appeared at venues such as Antique Garage, Shapeshifter Lab, and Rockwood Music Hall. Since 2016, Mitomi has been a regular performer at Tomi Jazz, a renowned jazz venue in New York City with over 20 years of history.

Barry Deister

Born:
Originally from Decatur, Illinois, Barry Deister immersed himself in the fertile jazz community at the University of Illinois from 1972-1975 before moving to Chicago in 1975. While in Chicago he played with many of the local jazz artists including Robert Shy, John Campbell, Kelly Sill, Joel Spencer, David Urban, Ed Petersen and many more. He relocated to the West coast in 1985 and was co-leader of the popular Eugene, Oregon based jazz quarter "Meridian" recording and performing at many of the West coast clubs & jazz festivals. During that time he was fortunate to have performed in concert with vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson and avant guard composer/saxophonist Anthony Braxton.

Richard Pavlidis

Richard Pavlidis is a saxophonist, composer, teacher and multi-instrumentalist from Melbourne, Australia. Educated at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Richard has toured Australia, New Zealand and Europe and has performed at major festivals including Splendour in the Grass, The Manly Jazz Festival in Sydney, and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Richard's debut solo album 'Without Within' was released worldwide in 2019 and supported by an Australian tour. Music from this album can be found in the Australian Jazz Real Book and the Australian Jazz Museum. The album caught the attention of celebrated saxophonist Kenny G, who said via social media "I love the way you combine bebop licks with more modern-sounding phrases, and your technique is amazing

Lauri Kadalipp is a young and talented saxophonist making his way in to Estonian jazz music scene. Born in a music loving family it wasn’t surprising that he continued the family’s biggest passion. He composed his first works while studying at H. Eller Music School where he was recognised for both composing skills and saxophone playing virtuosity. Being on the doorstep of his career as a professional saxophonist, Lauri has already been featured in numerous groups and projects. He is already teaching saxophone in 2 schools, is a player, conductor, band leader at New Wind Jazz Orchestra and also as band leader of a buzzing modern jazz group Lauri Kadalipp Social Jazz

Bernard Ayisa

Bernard Ayisa, saxophonist based in Accra, started playing when he was already 16 years old. Now he has become one of the leading saxophone players in Ghana and Africa. He spent his childhood and youth in South Africa where he was taught by fellow P. Mauriat artist Dusty Cox and prof. {{m: Darius Brubeck = 5390}}. Under the guidance of the latter, Bernard toured in US and Germany with the student/staff band of the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa. He also was member of the South African Youth Big Band of Mike Campbell which took him touring in the US. I was born in 1987 and I grew up in Sesto San Giovanni, an industrial town in the north of Milan, Italy. I was lucky enough to be brought up in a stimulating and creative family environment and soon I began to show interest towards music. By the age of 12 I received a saxophone as a gift from my mother and I started my studies, first in a local music school and then in the Conservatory G.Verdi of Milan. While still a student I threw myself into the jazz music scene of Milan and I began to perform throughout Italy.
During my career, I had the chance to play with great musicians such as:Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum, Jesper Bodilsen, Gerald Cannon, Paolino Dalla Porta, Antonio Zambrini, Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Falzone, Andrea Dulbecco, Pietro Tonolo, Tino Tracanna, Marco Vaggi, Achille Succi, Bebo Ferra, Giulio Corini, Alfonso Santimone, Francesco Lento, Harris Eisenstadt, Joe Fonda, Roberto Rossi, Roberto Cecchetto, Fausto Beccalossi, Greg Burk, David Binney, Reinier Baas, Ben Van Gelder, Mark Schilders, Bo van der Werf, Clemens van de Feen.
