Shoko Igarashi is an international musician. She was born in Yamagata, Japan 1991. She is an accomplished Woodwinds specialist on Alto, Soprano, and Tenor Saxophones and Flute. She is also an arranger and Composer. Currently living and working in New York City. Shoko began studying tenor saxophone in elementary school. She attended the music high school, Senzoku Gakuin High School, and received classical and basic Jazz training. In 2012, Shoko was accepted as a scholar student for Berklee College of Music. Pia Boda is a Tenor/Soprano Saxophone player and Composer. Was born in Los Angeles, came to Denmark 6 years old and grew up and studied in Copenhagen. Pia´s biological family were not connected to music at all, but her stepfather, a professional piano player, “stepped into her life”, when she was 12 years old and introduced her to Brazilian music. The local music school introduced her to the woodwinds and the recorder became her very first instrument. She graduated as a Saxophone Player and Music Teacher from The Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen in 1992, where she met the Italian guitar player Marco Spallanzani

Seleno “Sal” Crocker manages TWO very successful careers during one lifetime. Along with being an award-winning Saxophonist, this artist also serves as a successful major airline pilot for the last 27 years. Yes, Sal has managed to equally master his Mark VI and the Airbus at the same time. Growing up, Sal always had a desire to fly but, once he picked up the saxophone at age 10, he defined his two passions: Flying and the Saxophone. So, instead of choosing one career over the other, he decided to tackle them both, simultaneously. After many years of light musical endeavors, Sal is able to embark on a musical journey as a “full time” professional jazz musician thanks to the support of his beautiful wife, Eurydice, and her kaleidoscopic vision for her husband’s future. Anders Lønne Grønseth

Saxophonist, reed doubler (clarinet, flute) and composer born in 1979, resident in Oslo, Norway. Anders studied to a master degree in performing arts at Göteborg University (Academy of music and drama) after completing his bachelor at the Norwegian academy of music in Oslo. With roots in the jazz tradition, Anders seeks out a broad span of influences which come to display both in his playing and writing. Studies of classical composition of the 20th century, Indian classical music and Maqam tradition of the Middle-East continue to make way for explorations in playing techniques, composing and theoretical development. Anders started his professional career with the quartet Sphinx in 2000; a collaboration with fellow students David Arthur Skinner (piano), Audun Ellingsen (bass) and Ulrik Ibsen Thorsrud (drums) which lasted over a decade and produced several tours in Norway, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Finland and Japan, as well as six album releases

Born in 1982, in Leiria, soon dedicated his time to studying music, with only 7 years old.From 2004 to 2008 he studied at Hot Clube de Portugal’s Jazz School, where he had lessons with Jorge Reis and Pedro Moreira and started to distinguish himself as a jazz musician. In 2008 he enrolled at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where he continued to work with Jorge Reis e Pedro Moreira, having completed the Jazz Bachelor Degree in saxophone performance.César is a member of the dixieland group Desbundixie, with whom he recorded “Kick’n Blow” (in 2007) e “Up 2 Nine” (in 2009), this last one with Maria João in vocals and Filipe Melo at the piano as special guests.He is the mentor and artistic director of Orquestra Jazz de Leiria, a big band which gathers Leiria’s jazz community and has given a set of concerts with Portuguese artists as special guests, such as Vânia Fernandes, David Fonseca, Maria João, Herman José, Luísa Sobral, Áurea, Tiago Bettencourt, Pedro Abrunhosa, Ana Bacalhau, Camané, Sara Tavares, António Zambujo, Jorge Palma and Simone de Oliveira.In 2010, César recorded his first debut CD, “Half Step”, with the musicians Bruno Santos, Filipe Melo, Demian Cabaud and Bruno Pedroso, his quintet at that time. The album also features Pedro Moreira as special guest and was presented at Marinha Grande’s Jazz Festival. Sean Sonderegger

Sean Sonderegger grew up in Los Angeles playing music in an eclectic atmosphere with musicians like Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner, Kamasi Washington, and Brandon Coleman. His first experience with free improvisation, at age 12, was from an unlikely source, Buddy Collette, a saxophonist and flautist well known for his work as a studio musican and his classic 1950s West Coast jazz albums (as well as his associations with Charles Mingus and Eric Dolphy). Playing completely free music with Collette and such a diverse group of musicians (including Basie sideman Jackie Kelso, and future members of the LA band Ozomatli) was a formative experience for him, and showed him early on the vast possibilities of trans-idiomatic creation that improvised music supported
