Born in Paderborn, Germany Lars picked up the piano at age 4 and the alto sax at age 10. After a few lessons with Martin Casey Lars was fortunate to study for three years with tenor sax great Tony Lakatos and soon after to join the local big band conducted by Reiner Franzke. Until high school graduation he studied with Melvin Philips. He also picked up the soprano sax and the flute with Mel. During his political science studies in Munich Lars attended clinics with Wayne Darling, Vincent Herring, Michael Brecker and programs organized by Berklee College of Music with Gary Burton, Bill Pierce, Joe Lovano, Bill Frisell and Paul Motian. In 1998 after completing his masters Lars entered Berklee's program in Boston

Lelei Gracindo

Lelei Gracindo was born in Petrópolis R.J. Brazil in 1974. His career began in church like most other great musicians. It wasn't long after, that his slick and uncompromising tasteful saxophone style was noticed by some of Rio de Janeiro prominant acts. Lelei has been blessed to be able to record and share the stage with artist such as the late great Ed Motta, Sandra de Sá, Moska, Milton Nascimento, Flavio Venturini, Cidade Negra, Djavan, just to name a few. Most artist would agree that Lelei melodic lines leaves a memorable impression on a composition.

Chuck Langford

Charles Langford has been writing music since his teenage years. This Springfield, Massachusetts jazz man does it all,tenor, alto, soprano sax, clarinet and flute. Mr. Langford came to the Northeast United States after attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the New School for Social Research in New York City. He studied composition and teaching with Billy Harper, Donald Byrd, and Barry Harris, among others. Prior to that, Mr. Langford studied with Archie Shepp and Yusef Latef. Alto saxophonist and flautist Justin Wood began playing saxophone in fifth grade growing up in rural Northern Maine. During high school, he co-led a jazz trio with trombonist Philip Yaeger and brother Tyler Wood on piano, and played gigs ranging from local restaurants to agricultural conventions. After attending Harvard University, Justin moved to New York in 1999 to work as a union organizer and explore the city's music scene. Robbyn was presented with the John C. Borden award for “Outstanding Accomplishment in Jazz” upon graduating this past spring from Manhattan School of Music. In New York, Robbyn has performed regularly with Manhattan School of Music’s Concert Jazz Band under the direction of Justin DiCioccio and MSM’s Afro Cuban Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Latin percussionist Bobby Sanbria. With these groups he has performed at Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Makor, and the Nuyorican Poets Café alongside jazz greats such as Dave Leibman, John Faddis, and Candido Camero. Evan Knight

Evan started playing sax at the age of 10. At 16, Evan played nationally for several years with Benny Mardones and the Hurricanes. He was the Star Search winner on Warren Hill’s first annual Smooth Jazz Cruise where he also performed with nationally recognized guitarist, Chieli Minucci. Evan has performed at Lincoln Center in NYC as lead alto sax player in the 315 All-Star Jazz Band. He has performed at numerous Upstate NY venues and festivals as the lead soloist in the Evan Knight Band. Evan has also performed in his hometown of Syracuse, NY with bands such as After FX, Atlas, The J Project, The Blacklights and UAD. Now with the release of his debut album, Evan is on the brink of making his mark in the contemporary jazz genre.

Born, reared educated in Newark, NJ My father, master percussionist Leon De Vose, Sr., began teaching me how to play congas when I was tall enough to reach the head. Daddy was the lead drummer for a local African dance ensemble, Whenever he played, I would listen for his distinctive playing style, absorbing his technique.
