Art Felluca

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Art is a jazz composer, arranger and versatile woodwind instrumentalist. Primarily an alto saxophonist, he is proficient on soprano saxophone, flute and clarinet. He began his musical studies on piano at age 6, took up clarinet at age 10 and then alto saxophone a year later. Soon after, Art developed a strong interest in jazz and began studying improvisation. During his high school years, Art won an Outstanding Soloist Award at the 2000 Essentially Ellington Festival in New York City, played in the New York State All-State Jazz Ensemble, and was one of two winners in the Rochester Area Young Jazz Artist competition in 2001

Sam Gill is a saxophonist, improviser & composer based in Sydney, Australia. He leads the groups Coursed Waters & Scattered, is a member of the composer-performer collectives Mind on Fire & Microfiche, and has duo projects with electric bassist Joseph Franklin and drummer Simon Barker.
Sam has performed with a number of Australia's most acclaimed improvisers including Chris Abrahams, Chris Hale, Marc Hannaford, Matt McMahon and Scott Tinkler. He has also worked with the Australian Art Orchestra and world-music ensemble Mara!, and is a member of Yutaro Okuda Quintet and Nick Calligeros' Soft Spot.

He currently leads the ensemble Im Wald and he regularly plays and tours nationwide and internationally, for instance with Cold Voodoo (with bassist Silvan Jeger), with percussionist Norbert Pfammatter or singer Dalia Donadio.
