Claudio Rubio

Claudio Rubio is a saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator from Santiago, Chile. Recived his education at William Paterson University prestigious jazz program from which he graduated Summa Cum Laude. While in USA he got to learn from jazz legends such as Rich Perry, Dave Liebman, Barry Harris, Steve LaSpina, Jim McNeely amongst others. Upon his gradtuation Claudio went back to Santiago to become a referential voice in the local scene as a frecuent colloaborator of Quintessence Ensamble -earning a Pulsar Price for the album "Décimo"- Christian Galvez, Francesca Ancarola among other fundamental figures of the Chilean Jazz Scene


Nicolas Vera

Nicolas Vera (35), is a guitarist and composer born in Concepción (Chile). In 1999 he starts collaborating with different musicians in Santiago, such as Christian Gálvez, Pancho Molina, Sebastián Jordán, Agustín Moya, among others. In 2003 he publishes his first album “Fiasco Contemporáneo” in Santiago, Chile, together with well known musicians of his generation (Félix Lecaros, Sebastián Jordán, Agustín Moya, Pablo Menares, Carlos Cortés). Since then he has published 5 albums as a leader as well as many collaborations: “Chile Finlandia Connection” (2011 - Mikko Innannen, André Sumelius), “La Resistencia” (2013 - Melissa Aldana, Pablo Menares), and others; "Eterno Retorno" - La Resistencia (2016); "Live At Thelonious" - Jure Pukl Quartet (2016); "La Rueda del Tiempo" - Vera / Menares / Lecaros (2016). He has toured Chile, Argentina, Belgium, México, and has played with Greg Osby, Aaron Parks, Drew Gress, Melissa Aldana, Leo Genovese, Mikko Innanen, André Sumelius, Glenn Zaleski, Jure Pukl, Gianni Gagliardi, Rodrigo Recabarren. In 2010 he co-founded Discos Pendiente, an independent jazz record label based in Chile.


Vera Maia

Macarena Rocha, singer (lightweight soprano) and composer in her VĚRA MAIA (2012– actually) trio/quartet of indian tabla, trumpet and guitar & vocals. Her music fuses jazz with traditional ethnic music from the East and the Latin American healing-chants of Icarus, from the jungle. She's accompanied by Dhani Grimaldo (tabla) and Adrian Sage (trumpet) on Maianthemus (2016). By Juan Elgueda (tabla), Alejandro Pino (trumpet & flugelhorn), Cristian Gallardo (sax) sometimes on stage in a special concert mode "Hip Soul Jazzy". And now by Benjamín Saiz (drums & percussion), Javier Aguilar (bansuri & ethnic flutes) and Matias Donoso (bass & effects), this's the new Samurai Quartet; developing the HipFolk, RockSoul and EthnicRap style



From 2003 with Anita Tijoux on Vocals, Aluzinati begin his musical history with 8 members like Jaime Ferrada on the Bass, Carlos Cortes on Drums, and Sebastian Jordan and Agustin Moya on the Horns. Appearences on the chilean film music score "Subterra" for Warner Record, and other importants shows like the 25 Anniversary of the epic president of Chile Salvador Allende" Then Aluzinati change his vocal Anita Tijoux and the bassist Jaime Ferrada and entry 3 young musicians on the band: Diego Capi Calderon and Consuelo Schuster on Vocals and Roberto Trujillo on the Bass. Aluzinati reinventing his musical concept and edit his debut album "Pirinola Power" by Dicap records. Now the band is on process of promotion with a new drum player Abraham Yuseff and sometimes with Horns and others not


Roberto Cepeda M.

Born in Chile, with studies of classic guitar, high experience with finger style in steel chord, original composer in jazz-rock and classic fusion.


Omar Pazols B.

Omar Pazols Barrera, born in Santiago in 1956, from 1971 to 1973 studied interpreter in percussion at the Conservatory of the University of Chile, during 1970-1974 he joined groups” Largo Camino”, with pianist Eduardo Campos, later he joined Millantún, with Aldunate brothers then pianist Pedro Muñoz invites you to participate in the "Luna Llena” project with Patricio and Carlos Vera. In 1999 he founded the project "EGP Estudio" for the purpose of promoting the musical arts in Chile through the realization of musical productions. Among the bands and Chilean musicians who have recorded in EGP, stand Alejandro Espinoza, Felipe Chacón, Carla Romero, Panchito Cabrera, Santiago Hot Club, and Voodoo Funk from Argentina. In 2000, he founded the “SUR”, Rodrigo Ratier in Piano, and Willy Pino on bass, the trio involved in all stages of jazz successfully participates in jazz festivals and tours throughout Argentina
