Modern improvisational music project Sakhra was created in 2014 by Evgeny Abramov - a composer, pianist and arranger, who has composed music for cinema and theatre and worked with such celebrities as Batyrkhan Shukenov, Alexandr Marshal, Angelika Varum, Zhanna Aguzarova, Alexey Hvorostyan, GURUDE and such music bands as Nepara, Reflex, Unisex and VIA Gra. Originally a New Age music project turned to a wider variety of styles as Evgeny Abramov invited new members - Pavel Prokimov (contrabass), Petr Talalay (drums) and multi-instrumentalist Anton Kotikov. Currently, Sakhra project is not only a permanent resident of Moscow jazz clubs such as Esse, Soyuz Kompozitorov and Jam Club, but also a regular participant of international festivals such as “World of Siberia”, “Around the World”, “Trimurti”, “Ural Music Night”. Two albums of different styles were released in 2020
