Bassist and composer Ryan McGuire has performed with Luther Gray, Dave Gross, Tatsuya Nakatani, Greg Kelley, Kayo Dot, Ricardo Donoso, Kevin Frenette, Raqib Hassan and the Interdimensional Science Research Orchestra, Forbes Graham and others, and has toured the U.S., Canada, and Europe extensively. Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, McGuire studied Performance at UMass Lowell and composition at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has played on recordings released by Tzadik, Hydrahead, Robotic Empire, Eh!/Public Eyesore, Sound Devastation, Semata, Fun with Asbestos, and Holy Roar Records. He currently performs with Ehnahre, the Epicureans, and Wild May.
