PSYCHIC EQUALIZER, the project lead by Cantabrian pianist and composer Hugo Selles, has released a new EP. Madrid (or Suite For The Solitary Contemporary Citizen) saw the light on 28th April on iTunes. While the first EP Memories From A Cold Place was inspired by the countryside around Selles’ hometown, this second work focuses on the loneliness of living in a big city. The sound of this new production incorporates elements of rock and jazz, without leaving the influence of electronic and ambient music established by the previous EP. Selles’ pianos and keyboards are joined by the guitar sounds of Quico Duret, renowned guitarist of the Madrid indie scene
