Joachim Mencel

Joachim Mencel – pianist, lyricist (hurdy-gurdy player), composer, music producer, PhD – assistant professor at the Academy of Music in Krakow, decorated with, among others Silver Cross of Merit and Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis, called the “romantic of Polish jazz pianism” He graduated from the Jazz and Popular Music Department of the Music Academy in Katowice. He played, among others in the bands of Janusz Muniak (CD “Contemplation”), Andrzej Cudzich (CD “Simple Way”) and Nigel Kennedy. He regularly cooperates with the American clarinettist Brad Terrym (albums “All about spring”, “Colorado”, “Live in Fort Andross”)

Aiskander

AISKANDER – a Polish avant-garde composer, as well as guitarist and music producer. His artistic pseudonym is the Arabic version of his real name (Iskander) preceded by the letter "A". He learned playing keyboard instruments and classical guitar, but his instrumental and composing skills were developed by the musician on his own. The artist performs mainly instrumental jazz-funk, avant-funk and art-pop. The willingness to improve the creative process inspired Aiskander to work on his own material. In mid-2009 Aiskander recorded his first solo album "Tysięczna część radości". The opening songs "Róża wiatrów", "Fantazja" and twelve other compositions woven around the melodic sound of a classical guitar announced the direction continued in the next two albums

Aleksandra Kutrzepa Quartet

Aleksandra Kutrzepa Quartet was formed in December 2015. Members of the band are graduates the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice and Institute Of Music of the Art Department in Lublin. The band's repertoire consists of original compositions combining elements of contemporary jazz and free jazz with illustrative music. For a long time the band worked on a common sound, which is a priority for each member, and is created by the unconventional use of electronics supporting the color of acoustic instruments. In May 2018, the band released their debut album "Impressions". Album "Impressions" hit in December 2018 on the list of the 5 best jazz debuts in Poland

Anna Rejda

Anna Rejda is a vocalist inspired by all forms of art. She studied singing at the faculty of Jazz and Popular Music at the Academy of Music in Katowice as well as French Horn at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. Singularly sophisticated and refined, she leads her own groups as vocalist, arranger, composer and lyricist whilst also taking part in others’ musical projects, singing in various formats, ranging from duos to orchestras and Big Bands. She was a finalist at the International Jazz Vocalists’ Competition in Zamość (Poland) and a semi-finalist at the International Jazz Vocalists’ Competition at Lady Summertime in Finland
