Michael Collins

Michael Collins, pianist and award-winning composer, is a graduate of the Thornton School of Music at USC, where he studied with jazz masters Shelly Berg, Russ Ferrante, and Kim Richmond. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Michael studied in his own back yard with jazz legend Armand Boatman at the "Granada Conservatory" (Armand's living room on Granada Street). Michael's piano playing and arranging is modern yet deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. His big band composition "Sketch Artist" was awarded honorable mention in the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards, and his big band arrangement of "El Sur" was featured on "40 Acres and a Burro," a GRAMMY-nominee for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album

Dave Solazzo

Dave Solazzo has been a mainstay of Central New York's music scene for over two decades. Much in demand as a soloist and sideman, Dave has worked with artists from a wide mix of genres - jazz, fusion, R&B and beyond. He has performed and recorded with major jazz figures like Chuck Mangione, Larry Coryell, Joel Frahm, Dick Oatts, Jerry Weldon and Joe Magnarelli at venues like The Flatiron Room (NYC), Troy Music Hall, the Savannah Jazz Festival and the Syracuse Jazz Fest.
In addition to his work as a sideman, Dave leads his own trio, playing modern interpretations of jazz standards and original compositions in the spirit of Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau.
Dave was educated at Berklee College of Music and SUNY Purchase College

Over the past 40 years, multi-instrumentalist Bob James has been writing, arranging and performing with members from Talking Heads, Miles Davis Group, Herbie Hancock, James Brown, Parliament/Funkadelic and many more. A classically trained pianist in the United States, Bob has always enjoyed exploring a variety of jazz, pop and world music.
While preparing to release his first solo recordings, He met and heard Ingrid León in 2023, performing in Baja California Sur. This sultry jazz singer immediately captivated him...reminding him of a Latin Sarah Vaughn, yet with her own unique timber and style. Bob recalls “You only stumble across special talent like this maybe once in a lifetime." so he immediately shelved his own solo project so Ingrid and he could begin their musical project called "Dúo"; an ongoing process where Ingrid & Bob continue to write and record music weekly in assorted studios in Mexico. Ranging from American/Latin/Brazilian pop and jazz styles, The duo continues to explore new ideas and sonic combinations. They both collaborate writing all original songs together. Bob plays all music on the project except for noted “guest artists” and Ingrid is the primary vocalist. The album Dúo will be released in 2024 after they write and record 60-70 songs, however they will be releasing singles throughout the year via streaming companies for the public to enjoy. Dúo will be a collection of the Artist’s favorite compositions.

Piergiorgio Pirro

Piergiorgio Pirro is a Brussels based pianist, composer, educator and music scholar. His musical interest gravitate around various forms of jazz, supported by a long-lasting love for classical music and an acquaintance with Brazilian music. In recent years he has been studying the connections between spectral music and jazz performance and enriching his instrumental palette with the use of electronics and tactile digital instruments.

In 2019, Alfred Yun composed a score for Kookmin University in Seoul, South Korea. The video was featured on national television, movie theaters, subways, and airports.
Recently, Alfred Yun was selected as an Artist-in-Residence at Strathmore, and is planning to have a string of concerts and a workshop in January 2024.
As a pianist, he has performed across the world: from Seoul to Boston and Washington DC. For several months, he has been leading a series of duos at Lake Anne Coffeehouse. He also performs regularly at Capitol Cider House in Washington DC .
As a leader, Alfred Yun has led groups at the Marriott Bethesda, Crystal Gateway Marriott, the Ronald Reagan Building, and the Embassy Suites International by Dulles Airport. Led groups at venues like An Die Musik Live, Franklin Park Arts Center, and Mr. Henry's. As a sideman, he has performed at the Four Seasons DC, the Hay-Adams DC, and the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
Alfred Yun has had the fortune of performing at festivals like the KORUS Festival, Lake Anne Jazz Festival, Jazz in the Country Festival, Crossroads Festival, the Yellowdoor Concert Series, and Nowon Festival in Seoul, South Korea.

Nate was drawn to the piano from a young age when he wanted to be like his grandmother who played hymns in church services. His mother enrolled him in piano lessons from a young age and from there he took a great liking to the instrument. His music taste was later informed by his father who he shared an affinity for collecting vinyl records with, showed him a great variety of music ranging from Led Zeppelin live at MSG to Kind of blue by Miles Davis.
