Robert Muller
Born:
Robert Muller is a jazz pianist. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he studied with Dr. Andrew Hill at PSU and moved to New York City in the early '90s where he was active in the downtown scene and as a sideman in several original bands including underground hip hop artist Pete Miser. He moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2004 where he co-lead the award-winning modern jazz group Kodama Trio, was a professor at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design, and appears with regional greats like Alex Murzyn, Pete Acosta Amahl, and Michael Herndon. He's appeared on several albums produced by Grammy-winning guitarist Larry Mitchell, and performed with artists including Nathan East, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, and Steve Morse

Immanuel Witschi

After 9 years study of classical piano by Hansjoerg Weltin with additional jazz improvisation courses and the participation as a singer boy at the Zurcher Saengerknaben Immanuel Witschi joined the Bernhard Spirig Big-Band first as a saxophonist (his 2nd instrument) and then as the regular pianist of the group for 7 years giving concerts in Switzerland and abroad. For 2 more years he joined the Zurich University Big-Band and attended private lessons with Pianist Stefan Stahel and Vince Benedetti until he took part in the Generations 2000 Masterclass in Frauenfeld (CH). After finishing the studies with the degree of a New Media Designer at the Hochschule fuer Gestaltung und Kunst Zurich he became resident pianist and technician at the Theatre Johana in Zurich and beside that he took part in productions of the Salon Theatre Herzbaracke and did concerts with his instant jazz combo in the Cafe Memphis in Zurich. 2009 Immanuel Witschi held his first fully improvised solo concert in his atelier before he continued a year later with 2 show projects for the Salon Theatre Herzbaracke and weekly bar piano performances at the L'heure bleue cafe in Zurich. 2011 he becomes a professional musician by quitting his career as a web programmer and project manager and gives in July his 2nd fully improvised solo concert in the Café Apart in Zurich.

Becky Archibald

Becky Archibald is an award-winning pianist, composer, recording artist, and educator. Spanning solo piano to chamber music to jazz, Becky’s music has taken her far – from Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall (solo debut, 2006) to a California house concert playing Frank Sinatra’s piano, to the Dordogne Jazz Summer School (DJSS) in Monteton, France (composer-in-residence since 2009.) Known for her innovative programming, she produced “Fresh-Faced Jazz” for the Indianapolis Spirit and Place Festival, featuring jazz artists performing inner city children’s first musical compositions, and a live radio concert on WFYI’s “The Classical Connection,” featuring Archibald performing her compositions with members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, along with a reading by award-winning author and classical music reviewer for the New Yorker Magazine, Alex Ross

Marco Mezquida

Marco Mezquida was born on the island of Menorca in 1987, he begins his studies at the age of eight, graduates in 2009 from the School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC), where he studied jazz improvisation, classical and contemporary music with Albert Bover, Lluís Vidal, Agustí Fernández, Coll and Juan Ramon de la Rubia. Appreciating his work Mezquida has been awarded two years in a row as ‘Musician of the Year’ 2011 and 2012 by the Association of Musicians Jazz and Modern Catalonia. Settled in Barcelona, at the age of 25 Mezquida is one of the most active pianists in the Catalan jazz scene

JONAH WEI-HAAS is an American pianist / keyboardist, producer, arranger, and teacher. He first began playing classical piano at age 8. In high school, he was introduced to Thelonius Monk and promptly fell in love with jazz, funk, rock, and other groove and improvisational based music.
