Lorenzo Cellupica

Lorenzo Cellupica was born in 1992 in Frosinone (Italy). He’s a pianist, keyboardist, composer and music teacher from Isola del Liri (Frosinone). He began to study at a local music school and carried on his own from the age of 13 till 25. His studies ranged from classical music to jazz, from rock to pop. In 2011 he won a contest for emerging bands in Alvito (FR) called Non solo Jazz (“Not Only Jazz”) with his band Yellowcake. In 2015 he was chosen as the best musicians by the newspaper TG24 for partecipating at a contest organised by the music school Industrie Sonore in Isola del Liri, where he played some original compositions for piano solo

Hue Blanes

Born in 1984, Melbourne, Hue grew up in the small Victorian town of Healesville, where he began his musical life playing local fetes, concerts and festivals. He received a scholarship to study at the Victorian College of The Arts Secondary School (VCASS), and graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Music Performance and the prestigious Billy Hyde Music Prize for outstanding achievement. Hue's teachers have included some of Australia's finest musicians - Bob and Steven Sedergreen, Andrea Keller, Tim Stevens, Tony Gould, and most recently with Fred Hersch and Jason Moran.

Israel Tanenbaum

Born:
Pianist, producer, composer and arranger, Israel Tanenbaum has produced over 700 songs and performed in more than 100 recordings of Salsa, Latin Jazz, Folklore and Latin/Tropical Pop.
Some of Israel’s best-known work includes salsa titles like “Oiga Mire Vea” and “Te amo, te extraño” (Orquesta Guayacán), and Latin Jazz compositions “Hacha y Machete” (Alfredo De La Fe) and “Tanenbaum a la Lucca” (Papo Lucca). His work has earned one Platinum and two Gold records.
Israel began his professional life as a teenager, playing clubs in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At 16 he went to New York and a friend invited him to see Machito & the Afro-Cubans at the Roseland Ballroom. After being introduced, Machito invited Israel to sit on stage and witness the awesome big band up close. The experience ignited Israel’s passion for composition.

Warren Galea

Warren Galea is a guitarist, pianist, and composer from Malta. His third and latest album - Meditations, a collection of solo guitar improvisations recorded across a period of around one year, was released in August 2023.
In 2019 he became the first Maltese artist to perform at the iconic Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. Other international performances have included Nublu 151, ShapeShifter Lab, Rockwood Music Hall and the Bitter End (NYC), the Honey Hive Gallery (San Francisco), the Octopus Literary Salon (Oakland), the Jazz Educators Network Conference (JEN) 2019 in Reno, Nevada; the Malta Jazz Festival, the Dusseldorf Jazz Rally, Europe Day Festival (Vienna), Teatro Adriano (Cagliari, Sardegna) and 'Les Sons d' Une Ile’ (Paris).

Antonio Flinta

Antonio Flinta, pianist, composer and educator born in Chile, as a child lived in Peru, Italy and Spain, and at 14 started to play piano influenced by the musical environment of his mother’s family in Madrid. At 17 he started studying physics at university, but soon after realized that music was his calling.
He studied in Madrid at the Taller de Músicos with Joshua Edelman, and attended masterclasses with Barry Harris, Bob Moses and Chuck Israels, among others. With a homemade piano solo tape recording of “All Blues” and “My Funny Valentine,” he won a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., where he studied composition and arrangement, improvisation with Ed Tomassi and jazz piano with Ray Santisi. In Rome in 1993, after playing in various bands and in duo with clarinetist Tony Scott, he formed his own trio with Roberto Bucci on bass and Claudio Gioannini on drums, starting a musical relationship and a friendship that lasts until today.
