Brisa Nova is the combination of two unique and varied talents who share a passion for music that they love to share with their audience. Influenced by their love of bossa nova and jazz, they decided to create a sound that would reflect the warm and breezy Brazilian feel they both love so much. Everything they perform gets "bossa-fied" and even some classic standards come back with a bossa nova rhythm and style. Tracy Benson began performing back in high school, when she used to sit in the locker room to sing and play her guitar because she liked the acoustics.
