I was born in Bari, a seaside town on the East coast of Italy. As the sound of the piano entered my home I was immediately and completely enthralled. I began to take piano lessons at eight, and continued to study classical piano for six years. Afterwards, I continued to play by ear composing my own simple melodies. I was inspired by the music around me, on the radio, in movies...and the feelings it captured in 'the moment'. That helped me build my creativity and the ability to compose variations on themes.
