In 2004 Michael S. Krumins crushed his left ring finger in an accident, and was close to giving up his carreer as a musician. But Things changed when he heard about Django Reinhardt, the legendary gypsy guitarist who revolutionized the entire jazz scene with his music and way of playing, after he crippled his left hand in a fire. Like Django, Michael found his companion in a violinist; Sebastian Gruchot, and with gypsy jazz in the luggage they went to Africa to find new ways to go with their music. Their meeting with african musicians and different musical traditions became the beginning of Nutopia
