Pianist Misa Milos Krstic (1947) was essentially self-taught on the instrument, although he took private piano lessons. As 11 years old boy, he began to collect and absorb only jazz records, and at sixteen he already played with much older musicians in "Eurydice" and "Z. Vračar". His first paid performance was as a student in a jazz club in Roly (S. Carolina) in 1967. Upon his return from the United States he refused to participate in show business structure and therefore was labeled as "room pianist." He graduated Agronomy first, then Composition at the Belgrade Music Academy, and finally received a Master's degree in jazz piano at Southern Illinois University, where he worked as an assistant in the bands and combos history
