Lura has been singing jazz and pop in the Portland area since 2011 at venues like Wilfs Restaurant,  Birch Street Uptown Lounge, Jimmy Macs, Ivories, Picnic House, Hotel Vintage, and a number of other local hotels and restaurants, outdoor markets, and numerous private events. In addition, she has had the pleasure to perform as a guest vocalist in the Washington, DC, New York City, and Paris, France.

Lura loves finding timeless and often haunting lyrics that allow for an intimate connection with her listeners that evokes memories and transports listeners to another time and always performs an interesting mix of well known songs, as well as numbers from the past few years by newer artists
