Nick Mancini
Vibraphonist/Marimbist and Composer NICK MANCINI began his professional career as a drummer, at the age of 15. His undergrad studies earned him an A.S. from Schenectady County Community College and a B.M. (with honors) from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. By the age of 23, he was a heavily called upon drummer in upstate NY but was feeling the tug of pursuing jazz more avidly. That was when he moved to NYC to attend Manhattan School of Music. His audition won him the prestigious President's Award scholarship and he graduated with a masters degree in jazz performance. For the following 8 or so years, Mancini continued honing his craft while cutting his teeth at live gigs all around NYC, earning him a much deserved reputation as a trusted sideman and kick-ass band leader until a gig took him out west and he found his true home in LA

Scarlett has been singing ever since she can remember. She got her start singing in local clubs in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri while still a teenager. Her first paying gig was at The Continental, one of the city's then upscale lounges. She was stunned when the manager put $35 in her hand for doing something she enjoyed so much.
Since moving to California, Scarlett has performed with the the Dr. Bob Finney Jazz Combo in numerous venues to standing room only crowds at the Gardenia Restaurant and Lounge, Lunaria Restaurant and Jazz Club, the Sky Room atop the Breaker's Hotel, the Long Beach Museum of Art, Rancho Los Cerritos, the Museum of Latin American Art, Duke's Place at the Balboa Bay Club, the Four Olives Restaurant, the Ristorante da Vinci, and the Madison Restaurant

Alex Iles
Alexander Iles is an American trombonist who teaches at the California Institute of the Arts, Azusa Pacific University, and California State University, Northridge. He has toured as lead and solo jazz trombonist with Maynard Ferguson, with whom he has recorded twice, and Woody Herman. He began his musical career while a student at UCLA. He studied trombone privately with Roy Main, Ralph Sauer, Byron Peebles, and Per Brevig. Jeff Colella
Jeff Colella is one of LA’s busiest jazz pianists. Besides performing in concert as a solo artist and with his trio, he maintains a very active schedule as an accompanist, recording artist, arranger, clinician and teacher. Jeff’s most recent recording is a collaboration with the veteran bassist Putter Smith that will be released in early 2013. He has two other releases as leader, “Alone Together” and “Letting Go,” both trio recordings and both on Sea Breeze Records. His music has been recorded by several artists, most recently by the noted saxophonist Bob Sheppard, who recorded two of Jeff’s compositions on his latest CD “Close Your Eyes”, released on BFM Records

About Mariel Mariel was born in 1988 in the California bay area, a humble home of musicians, artists, organic weed growers and LGBT rights activists.
