A unique voice in the Los Angeles contemporary improvised music scene, Raymond blends traditional jazz vocabulary with African polyrhythm and classical percussion technique. She performs, adjudicates, and presents workshops world wide at venues, festivals, and conventions; and has shared the stage with many jazz luminaries including Bobby Bradford, Bennie Maupin, Emil Richards, Art Lande, and Vinny Golia. She can be heard on several original albums including Cathlene Pineda’s “A Weeks Time" (Orenda), Jon Armstrong’s “Burnt Hibiscus" (Orenda), The Harold Trio (Edgetone), and will be releasing a trio record with Putter Smith and Art Lande in Spring 2017 entitled “Left Right Left"

October, 3, 1979, Coldwater, Ohio) is an American percussionist, drummer, producer, and educator specializing in Pop, Rock, Funk, R&B, Jazz, Brazilian, and Afro-Latin drum set styles. His playing in known for his ability to sound like five drummers at once, fierce leadership from behind the kit, solid and driving grooves, and subtle melodic fills that confidently lead the band. He is also a well trained classical percussionist, plays the soprano steel pan, and is a specialist in Brazilian & Cuban percussion instruments and genres - all of which influence his drum set playing to sound unique. Angelo Metz started singing and playing guitar at age of 6. Son of a music teacher, graduated with a bachelors degree in classical guitar from the Federal University in Brazil. Angelo has also earned a Master’s Degree in Studio/Jazz guitar and a Doctor’s degree in musical arts from USC. With vast teaching experience Angelo has taught at all levels, from elementary school to university. As a performer Angelo is an active solo/sideman/recording artist, having performed in hundreds of sessions and live shows. Angelo also writes and records music for films and commercials. Currently performing as a solo artist and with his Trio Braza, as well as with Nobresil and the JLB Jazz Collective. West Virginia-born Bill Reed is a jazz record producer, historian, author, and journalist. Reed is best known for his work in revitalizing interest in mid-century vocal jazz (in particular the One Shot Wonder genre), and for producing numerous albums for the Japanese market that have received wide international acclaim. Reed has produced more than sixty vocal jazz CDs for the Japanese market, most of which were for the label SSJ Records. Among his better known productions are a four-volume series of unreleased material by Beverly Kenney; "Down in the Depths" (2005) by singer Bill Black (culled from a fifty-year-old acetate); and the contemporary studio albums "Rain Sometimes" (2002) by Pinky Winters and "Listen Here" (2012) by Sue Raney
